I found notes writer app very helpful with my work and studies and i purchased the app back in 2022 for around £5, but now out of sudden it is asked me to buy the app again for around £2 which is so annoying and I don’t understand why it is happening I changed my iPad but still using the same account

I have been using the app on my iPad and also accessing the notes from my iPhones. All working good & really pleased until last week I cannot access my notes on my iPhone. I have purchased the notes writer pro, hoping this would resolve the issue, but it hasn’t. I have emailed for support 3 times now with no response!!!!!

Was using the free version, filled out some important forms. Accidentally moved folders, couldn’t access the folder without being pro. No way to reverse the action. Grumbling, paid £6 for pro. STILL have no access to these important forms as it does not move documents to the new app when you pay for pro!!

I have been using NotesWriter for some time now. It suits my purpose just fine. I even upgraded the free app to Pro. When trying to use the new Ai function in that app I was directed to this newer app with the opportunity to pay full price once again, just for the privilege of subscribing to the monthly cost for the Ai function. Whilst I am happy to help fund app development, I feel a little aggrieved at having to shell out twice for the same thing just so that I could subscribe to a monthly subscription.

I wanna know why you give this app a choice of fonts but my Work only seems to be sticking to 1 ,,, especially when people pay an extreme amount for these in app purchases ,, and they don’t give people what they originally downloaded it for ,, I sick of looking at the apple app store trying to find an alternative when writing poetry and wanting a font pertaining to what you are writing about you want the same font every time,, I

I used this app as my main Teaching Material Markup tool for all my students. The features are far larger than the standard markup in the iOS, but unfortunately in a recent update the app has become completely useless as it crashes the link to my Dropbox storage. This also disrupts the connection via the Files app and can sometimes take 5 mins to be re-established. I have ensured everything is fulling updated and have reinstalled everything I can to try to fix. This is happening on multiple iPads so I’m sure I’m not the user having difficulties. Have requested support, but have heard nothing 😞 Hope it gets fixed.

This is a fantastic app for taking notes, documenting and minimising the need for paper. The only features I would like to see that would make this THE perfect app for taking notes would be; 1) The ability to synch new documents I create to Google Drive and/or OneDrive instead of just iCloud to allow for better inter-device compatibility. 2) Automatic shape recognition when using the handwriting feature ie. if I free-draw a triangle, the software will convert that to a clean version of the shape I've drawn, along with the option to rotate that shape. 3) Double-tap ability to change between the pencil/pen and eraser functions more swiftly when writing. 4) The ability to use the eraser function to remove the highlighting from text, leaving the text underneath intact.

Just bought the Pro version. Could not even load the first PDF file, so I could not do what I bought it for. Loaded another file, but could not move it to a folder I just created. Looked at the so call tutorial on youtube. Unhelpful. Does not even have help videos of how to start the program. Existing videos are of poor support, amateur quality. — What else can I say? Do not waste your money.

Where to begin. Firstly i purchased this app a few months ago and have been using everyday in my workflow after a few months of using it and getting to know it i just hate it and regret buying it. Over the past few years i have tested countless note taking apps and since the apple pencil launched countless apps have popped up. By far this is the worst I have ever used. The UI isn’t great but usable when you try to write something with a Apple Pencil can glitch out and just start writing where it pleases. I have also noticed since i have purchased it, with every update it just gets worse and worse and now it is just terrible because originally there was a good note document called sketch and this was the only feature that i got along with while i was using this app and in the most recent update it has been removed and is nowhere to be found and in its place there is something called scribble note. This is basically the Apple Notes app toolbar combined with NotesWriter with this mixture of toolbars from both NotesWriter and apple it simply makes the app unusable as both toolbars conflict with each other making it almost impossible to get a good user experience out of this app. I myself will be switching to GoodNotes as a result of the very poor quality of this app. I would recommend that you stay away from NotesWriter and instead give your money to GoodNotes as it is far far better and you will not regret the purchase like i am now.

I’ve tried all the other note taking apps and only needed a few features. One was url links within the notes, which this has may of the others don’t. This also has great basic drawing tools so you can modify shapes and lines after they have been created. It also has LaTeX support so you can add in equations as needed. I was only looking for a note taking app with the url functionality, smooth hand writing, and flexible basic drawing tools so all the extra features are a huge plus for me. The only issue I had was with the mini keyboard on an iPad Pro causing the whole page I was working on to jump off screen. This didn’t happen if I used the full width keyboard so that will be my workaround for now. Overall, Great app, and glad I found one that did all things I needed. I hope the minor issue with the keyboard gets fixed soon, then, for me, it would be perfect. Edit: just after I wrote this there was an update which fixed this. Excellent to see such speedy development and support.
