I got an idea for a story and went looking for an app to write it in. I didn’t want to write it on my computer, but on my iPad, since I can take it wherever I go. I downloaded this app because it was free, and the reviews were so good. And I love, love, love the app! I had to leave a review because I have had so much fun writing in this app. I love how you can set up the events and characters in advance, then add them to a chapter or event for easy access. I cannot say I am an expert in the app, yet, and am just finishing my first book! I don’t think I would have gotten this far without the app. I just have one thing I want to note. It is fairly easy to add a cover but I need to add a map, as my book is fantasy, to my book and I haven’t figured out how to do it. I would like to be able to import it into the book, in the organization area, but I don’t think I can, can I? Otherwise, I will have to export it to open it in word, and add the map that way? Just wondering. Otherwise, this is a fantastic application for writing, especially for a beginner like I am! Thank you. I want to add that I would have paid for it had there been a way to see the app and work in it for a while before having to pay. Wow, just wow! Oh, and it would be great if I could move the characters and stuff over without having to copy and paste, since I want to use them for a second book, like a series. I could write the entire series in one, and then export it separately later, but then I couldn’t change the cover? Is this possible? Even if I have to delete the chapters and start over, if I could have all my notes and stuff copied to a new book, that would be great. Is it possible?

If i’m allowed to ask for one change it would be a way to make the keyboard dark, in dark mode it’s like a flashbang. Fantastic app though, no complaints from meS

I seriously love this app so much! It’s helped me plan so well and I always feel extremely ready to jump into the books I write. I’m a young writer and I tend to have a small attention span when I’m left to plan without a guide so this is really helpful. Being able to be so specific is so amazing when I need to stay on task. I was able to write 2 whole chapters that were 3,000-4,000 words each in the matter of an hour and a half. This is amazing. I love it! The only thing that kind of upsets me is that I can’t get the app on my laptop. I tend to type better when it’s on an actual keyboard so I was looking forward to getting my laptop but then I couldn’t get the app on it. It’s amazing so I really wanted to get it on more than just my phone.

I skipped the tutorial by accident so I can’t comment on it lol, but despite that, the app was really easy to use! Everything’s relatively straightforward, yet the tools can help you go really in-depth for character writing, worldbuilding, etc. I’ve used a few different character „sorting“ sites but this is by far my favorite. No draining social aspect, no annoying ads, no crucial features locked behind paywalls. And while yes, I mostly use this for fleshing out characters and such (as an artist does), the writing tools are splendid aswell! Sometimes I’ll be writing a segment from one thing, lose motivation halfway through, and start something else. Both the „scenes“ and „sections“ help me keep track of everything and keep it all organized, which I really like! Overall, great app. Would definitely recommend.

This app is so fun! Very underrated! Although it would be cool to be able to upload photos to the app!

When I write stories, I always use this app! It is super well made and underrated. It’s nice how you can choose between standard and an empty book, so if you don’t feel like doing all of the extra stuff you can just write your book! This is amazing and I am glad that you made this app!

You can’t sync data across devices. I personally go to school and i like to write at school but i also like to write at home. I’ll just stick to google docs. I really like the app but that is really annoying. I know you are on a budget but you’ll get more money and less people stopping using the app if you make it cost a little and add that.

This app is so creative and easy to use I love it like you follow a tutorial and make your cover then have a summary you get to add sections (chapters) and it’s just so cool it’s really hard to explain but it’s sooo AMAZING like so much fun as a beginner so easy to write and understand I appreciate all the good work on this app . The most important thing that I was skeptical about was that in the reviews I wanted to know if it was free so I just looked it up on google but it is free and easy to use for beginners and not beginners it literally the best app I’m glad I downloaded it , it’s 5 stars it hard to express the feelings of this app but it’s just really amazing thank you guys for making this app . 🥰

I love the way this app organizes my thoughts. Hoping someday soon, it can be shared across devices.

I love this app so so much. I love writing but being a very unorganized person typically I often got carried away and forgetful on certain aspects of my stories. When I first downloaded this app after having gotten an add for it I was immediately immersed in the different features it had. The ability to add your own categories and things in said categories all in whatever order you want, having no word limit(that I know of, maybe I just haven’t written enough yet?), and all this stuff; It’s an incredibly helpful app to stay organized. Unfortunately, I can’t quite figure out how to actually write within the app, no matter the tutorials I watch or tips on how to do so. But other than that one small thing, the app is amazing and I would definitely recommend it to any aspiring writers. Edit: Nevermind that last bit, I figured it out. So my point still stands but stands taller. App is amazing, download it. There are literally no downsides to it.
