Description

Are you spending lots of your time on low value tasks? You might find your time doesn't get spent where you think it does.

First, measure where your time goes, then reduce, or eliminate your biggest time wasting tasks. Use the knowledge acquired to improve your habits, and then see this feed through in terms of actual results.

Recording this information also makes completing work time sheets a breeze, and over time lets you see what can be done to improve your productivity.

Best there is

Marsmite on

Best there is. However, it hasn't been updated for several years. While it still works great, I would like to be able to use homescreen and lockscreen widgets. It has an iOS 13 widget, which I wouldn't want to lose, but I'd like new widgets as well.

Almost perfect

I love almost all of this app so I’m not going to bore you with what’s good about it because the answer to that is nearly every. I only have 2 improvements that’d make this a 10/5 stars for me. 1. Add widgets. It’d be really nice to be able to change task without opening the app or from the lock screen 2. Cross platform. I’d like to be able to use this on my desktop because of how good it is. (Linux support please) As soon as one of those features is implemented I’m purchasing the full version. EDIT: I’m actually going to buy the full version now. It’s too good to pass up

Easy to use and effective!

I really like this app. It helped me identify how I was spending my time and I found it easier to plan my week as a result - during lockdown days had started to melt into each other and I found myself wondering where the time had gone! I use it now to help myself track the tasks I do and to keep a track of how much time I spend doing each thing. It helps me to be 'intentional' with my days. I do a weekly review using the bar charts, which are really easy to use and interpret. I'm genuinely getting more done, am less distracted and my time is spent on better quality things. It's great! I used the free version for a month then I upgraded to pro so I could sync across my devices but the free app is great if that isn't important for you.

Good app

Now then is a good app to track ur days and fun to use on my list I have training, break(what I’m on now),art(bc I love it),work out(yoga?),play outside(I have a park infront off my house so I go there),break again and that’s it still thinking for over things to put on maybe backing and stuff but over all it’s a amazing app I did put it as 4 stars I changed my mind I put it as 5 stars 🌟 and I really like it :))))) ;-; Sorry for spelling mistakes! Bye

Really well thought out and useful app

This is a great app. The right level of control vs simplicity. Prompting to fill time with new events is perfect. Nested tasks are great. Recording your time and being able to change your active task easily is fantastic, especially for people who might have to change tasks (eg you receive a phone call when you’ve just sat down to work). I also like being able to set an end time on the current event when I forgot to start a new event and then it prompts me to create a new current event from the time that last event ended. A couple of minor suggestions: - Filter: select multiple tasks, or even exclude some tasks. - Editing Then: click on a gap in your timeline to create a missed task and have its start and end time default to fill the whole gap - Example data: When offering to create example data tell users where to go in Settings to delete the sample events or everything, before they start measuring their own time. Or better still, provide a Delete Example Events option that leaves my events intact! - Deleting a child task: Offer to change all events for this child task to be events on the parent task. This way I could delete some minor child tasks and still count the events as a parent type. I know I can keep events when deleting tasks but I would rather have all events against tasks that exist. Overall this is a great app and cleverly designed to be used quickly and without a fuss. A proper tool in the truest sense and a great advert for the Pro version (Reminders look useful).

Hopeless

Farrrr to confusing. Task creation was so labourious.

Fantastic app - could be better

Heather9271 on

So first off, I use the free version and can honestly say it’s improved my life. Most apps don’t do that. 10/10 would recommend. But I think it could be even better. One issue I have is that I can’t do two things at the same time. Which sort of makes sense, but when I’m listening to a podcast while washing the dishes and want to track both, it can be a bit annoying. The other thing is each day is 24 hours - 00.00 until 23.59. Which is good in some ways, but makes it slightly more difficult to actually see how long I’ve been asleep for. Being able to change what time days start and end would be helpful - or to just have it end automatically when you go to sleep. But those minor quibbles don’t detract from a brilliantly useful, simple to use and well thought out app.

helpful

this app really gives me reminder of how many time I’ve spent on working or playing. Through this I adjust my arrangement quickly. Thank you so much for making me value my time.

Great app, but could be even better if...

Henstooth on

A really good app, easy to use and see where you time is being spent. I work freelance and this is becoming an invaluable tool. The one thing that would make it perfect is if I could add an hourly rate to an individual task so it could calculate my total earnings for each project, maybe for the paid version? This would then save me even more time!

Simple but extremely effective

Lauraaa!** on

I am delighted with this app and have upgraded to the paid version. I often work from home on multiple projects and the simple design of this app makes swapping from one task to another a piece of cake. It has also given me real insight into precisely where my time is going. Great job!
