NumPad: Your Number Keyboard

Published by: More Voltage

Description

Ever had to add a phone number, credit card number, or any other long list of digits on an app or website and they DIDN'T provide a number pad keyboard? With NumPad: Your Number Keyboard, that overwhelming feeling of loss, loathing, and general sadness disappears instantly, just by switching keyboards.
NumPad is a simple keyboard that provides you with a basic number pad function, similar to what you see on a full-size keyboard. It's useful in a number of scenarios, including but not limited to:
- Entering payment information on older websites
- Adding secure number information (like social security numbers, ID's, etc.) with one hand
- Inputting a bunch of phone numbers (especially international numbers) into a sheet
- Professional use, like inputting numbers in a spreadsheet
NumPad is built to speed up your day, no matter which iPhone or iPad you have. If you use other keyboards, no problem! And if you don't, then NumPad has a perfect place in your iDevice, adding that extra bit of typing that'll make adding numbers to anything that much faster. Try it out today!

NumPad Reviews

Decent, needs sizing options

Damariobros on

This is a little too compact for my taste. I would like to be able to make it a little bit bigger, especially since I'm in landscape mode all the time. It feels a little too stretched out horizontally and squished down vertically. It's loads better than just using the alphanumeric keyboard for everything. It's especially needed now since Apple has removed the ability to enter your passcode with the built-in keypad anywhere other than the Lock Screen — they force you to use the qwerty keyboard now. But, please add some sizing options so I can make it less compact, that would be awesome.

Could Have Been Great

I’d prefer to send feedback and questions to the dev privately so they have a chance to respond before my “issues” are published in a public review, but I could not find any options to do so in the app. So a review it is. #1) PLEASE GET RID OF THE UNDERSCORES THAT UNDERLINE EVERY NUMBER **AND** SYMBOL. It makes parts of the number pad unreadable and UNUSABLE. What’s the benefit to the user? It’s visually confusing AND CAN CHANGE THE SYMBOL MEANING. The “period” and “comma” symbols are egregious examples of both. #2) Please make the keypad a little less compact. There’s plenty of screen space to make it a little bigger. The compact keypad combined with having EVERY number and symbol underlined just makes it all less readable. But if issue #1 isn’t fixed first, then #2 doesn’t matter. I just downloaded this, but I’m going to delete it because of the underscore/underline issue. I can’t use it like that. Sorry these complaints had to be in a review instead of a private email.

Ok

Seems like the number pad only can be used on certain applications

Doesn’t work in some apps

I downloaded this specifically for working with ISBNs in Goodreads, as I’m trying to inventory a large number of books. I can get it to work in other apps but not the one I most need it to!

In the ad it says enter credit card numbers. When you activate the app it needs access everything you type. Who needs that. What a bunch of criminals. I want my $2 back. Booooo!

Great solution for a stupid iOS problem

karthakon on

Having a numpad you can manually switch to makes iOS much easier to use. It was an issue I wasn't anticipating when I switched from Android. The math pack is great, but I wish we could have a toggle to switch the keys to symbols instead of tacking them to the top.

Good App

Would have given 5 stars, but for the cumbersome comma and period that throw the entire keyboard slightly too far left.

This keyboard is a joke. I
