Useful App for Teaching Nursing Leadership
I will use this app as an adjunct to my nursing leadership and management course when we cover delegation and staffing. Very interactive, gives rationales. Great learning tool!

Description
A mobile game to help nursing students practice the multifactor decision-making process of nurse assignment, which includes accurately recognizing nurse competency, assessing patient acuity, and determining how to equitably delegate which patients each nurse sees on a shift. While these skills have traditionally been difficult to learn without being on the job in a high-risk environment, this new practice tool allows students to fail safely, without affecting patient health. The app was developed in partnership with faculty member Larry Z. Slater for the Rory Meyers College of Nursing course Leadership & Management.

So far this is incredibly helpful!!! I wish it was made sooner. I appreciate how you get to see the experts answer directly next to your own. It really forces you too think critically. I love playing sim games but have had trouble finding a productive way to play them. This app is practical and effective at applying theories in nursing practice. I know I will for sure use this prioritization structure in clinicals.
