Doesn’t ask for your weight or anything, doesn’t try to ‘help’ you meet your goals. I just needed an app to keep track of what I’m eating to gain mass, and thats what I got
I love this app, very user friendly and thorough! A few features I'd like to see are: Adding food manually with nutrient facts that doesn't come up in the search. Example: premier protein shake. It doesn't come up, but I could enter the nutrition facts from the bottle and keep it under "my meals" Adding info about the "normal/average" amount of the nutrients for individual gender, age, and size. And also about what the nutrient is and what it does. Example: what is ash? How much is too much or too little? Is it harmful or helpful? Thanks! I hope this is helpful!
I just started using this, and so far so good, but it would be really nice to be able to edit the food entries I made.In my learning, I missed where to set the time, so it looks like all my food was consumed in the evening… And there’s no way to fix it, except delete and start over. Not crucial but a bit irksome. Also not every nutrient has a recommended amount listed. I don’t know if they just don’t exist, or what, but it’s really nice and they do have recommended amounts and you can see how you compare.Still, I’m gonna stick with it, at least for a week, which was my goal.
This app has a TON of specific nutritional data - which I want / was interested in.. BUT this app is unusable, in my opinion. The searching / results are non-specific and ABYSMAL - and there’s NO self entry. Do a search for PEAS and you’ll get peaches, pears, etc. Try to be MORE granular or specific in your query and it doesn’t work.
This app keeps coming back after I delete it!
I’ve used a lot of apps but this one while it breaks down the nutrient totals for you, food selection is limited and most often can’t find a match. There is no way to scan in your actual food items to get actual totals.
I like that you can enter your food and get all the nutritional information. But it would be great to see how it compares to the recommended nutritional daily amounts you should eat. It would also be great to be able to create and save your own foods. I make a smoothie every morning and it would be great to be able to enter all the ingredients once and then select my smoothie.
It was easy to figure out! Input a food, it will input your nutrients, click on any nutrient box, click on the “i” circle and it gives you the recommended amounts by age so you can compare consumed to still needed. Mcg and Ug are the same so there is no need to calculate. 1Mcg=1Ug. This is great for people who are trying to get the right nutrients into their diet, specifically for me trying to strengthen my thyroid through Iodine, Selenium, Zinc, and Iron balances. Thank you Jason whoever you may be.
