Description
Nutrition+ is an iPhone/Apple Watch colour coded app that allows to track nutritional info such as calories, carbs, fat, fiber, protein, cholesterol, sodium, water; activity such as sleep, steps, exercise; health such as glucose & blood pressure, we will refer to all these as readings.
The Apple Watch version allows to add quickly water to Health and Nutrition+ apps.
The app gets nutritional info from at least two API sources such as: Nutritionix and Fat Secret, also advises according to the active complication by voice when the app is active.
The app syncs daily nutrition, activity & health readings to the user's respective Health app and https://glucoseplusapp.com user accounts via integration and optionally displays nutrition and activity rings on main screen.
Nutrition, activity & health readings are displayed with colour coded digits making easy and intuitive to find high or low readings, respective colour changes base on customized personal tracking limits on the iPhone or Apple Watch.
The user has the option to sync from/to iPhone Health app only by dafault or integrate the app also to the secured https://glucoseplusapp.com web-site storing tracking limits & daily readings stats. These readings and tracking limits could be read from its sibling such as Glucose Watch, Nutrings+ & Nutrition Complication apps when its respective integration is active and provides nutritional data to Health app as well.
Weekly, monthly charts could be generated on the iPhone, Apple Watch & https://glucoseplusapp.com.
The Apple Watch app version allows to customize its complication with any nutrition fact or glucose reading in order to be displayed as filled or gauge open ring colour-coded complication on its screen to display the latest-current stored reading as per user's convenience, the app automatically runs in background syncing the latest readings and keeping its complication updated.
Main screen top white button allows to display one by one all the readings showing them in blue or green when are good and on red when they are exceeded their respective customized tracking limits.
The Apple Watch app allows to read weight and height from the iPhone Health app user account to calculate and store back the respective body mass index BMI.
The Apple Watch app displays bar and line charts with stored daily nutrition, activity and health readings to show trends, also creates nutrition facts rings to show current calories, carbs, fat, fiber, cholesterol, protein, sodium and water readings anytime all in one screen.
The Apple Watch app allows to schedule notifications to remind the user to take a glucose reading and enter it by voice and notifies about high glucose levels or nutrition facts high or low levels, also advises by voice when the app is active.
Both apps could be integrated to Health app and https://glucoseplusapp.com through its respective user accounts already setup by the user.
The app installation creates some basic-food nutrition facts automatically and provides Siri shortcuts support
