NutriCoach Reviews

Muscle mass

Vandridge on

United States

This app doesn’t take into consideration those with higher than average lean mass. If I was at the upper end of my goal body weight on it, I would have about 2-3% body fat. I would like to track meals and cut a few kg, not be ready to go to competition. Could be good for a person who fits that range and doesn’t have a higher lean mass. I couldn’t get past the account setup.

Does not work

Justtinkering21 on

United States

I have the full lifetime version of this app this is my first time using it and the journal does not work. I have tried to log my lunch that I took a photo of; the picture uploaded however nothing else happened. There was no change in calories and no indication that my lunch was even logged. I tried to log my workout the app said my exercise was added but it’s nowhere to be found on my journal. This app has potential if it can function properly until then it’s a useless app.

Glitches Bugs and numerous privacy issues

Alternative Reviews on

Doesn’t even get through its own essential introduction before crash restart freezing uninstall reinstall crashing again Well done kids be very proud of the wonderful app created. Truthfully an interesting idea run amok trying to do all things data mining without really focusing on just helping being simple and not bloated.

So many negative things

DUDE what about my PRIVACY on

United States

Mostly just a huge data mining operation of 3rd parties making money off your privacy and broken links to connect with company a privacy statement filled with missing information and an email address that bounces 🤔🙈🤥😢

pain to use

Bob 401 on

United States

This app asks for personal information that is irrelevant and not optional (my last name), and gives me the choice to use imperial units but does not follow the choice and keeps forcing metric on me. I am not going to use this app.

Bad

First, dev’s that ignore best practices by recruiting a user base with a premium lifetime promo via any method other than allowing users to purchase an IAP that can be perpetually restored via Apple should be avoided. Every time I have gone this route the dev invariably adds a feature or something and then requires additional payment. It’s not worth taking the time to set up the app and start using it only to get pushed into spending more money to continue using the app. Telling users that they’re receiving lifetime premium for $0.00 is worthless absent the assurance of lifetime premium via an IAP for $0.00. Lifetime premium promos are a very common and effective tactic for devs to build a user base, and honest devs have made it a best practice to offer these promos as an IAP restorable via Apple. With 2MM apps in the AppStore and 40k added monthly, devs need you as a user far more than you need their specific app. Secondly, the onboarding is painfully long, and unnecessary so. For instance, why are users asked if they’re more motivated by a sticker or an encouraging statement? Finally, the app gives you the option to select imperial or metric, choose imperial and everything that follows is metric or makes no sense to anyone that uses imperial. If I’m 5’ 10” allow me to input that, not 5.8 ft. If you make it this far into the laborious onboarding, the following questions ask you to set weight goals in Kgs… I don’t know or care how many kilos I weigh or want to weigh. Between the intentional exclusion of an apple restorable an IAP and the poorly executed UX, I’m not compelled to give my time and data for the benefit of this developer.

Just starting

MARTINCAM on

I’ve just completed my onboarding and I’m ask to give a rating. After answering the questions and receiving a figure of 72 kg as my optimal weight and replying that my goal is 70 kg, the app predicted my weight would be 63 kg if I follow the program. Where did that figure come from? I’d think I wouldn’t be very healthy at that weight.

Seems ok

R.S. R on

I'm trying to gain weight but these apps are all made for fat people so it just suggests I keep dropping weight until I'm a skeleton

Lifetime start

Harvestpuffs on

I’m using the app for the first time and I have the lifetime version, so I’m confident it will be effective! The questionnaire appears to be well-designed and comprehensive to suit your needs.
