إنما الأعمال بالنيات
"النية أمرها عظيم، وهي روح الأعمال، وبها صلاح الأعمال، كما قال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: «إِنَّمَا الأَعْمَالُ بِالنِّيَّاتِ، وَإِنَّمَا لِكُلِّ امْرِئٍ مَا نَوَى» والنية محلها القلب، فلو لفظ بلسانه غلطًا خلاف ما في قلبه فالاعتبار بما ينوي لا بما لفظ.
قال الإمام النووي رحمه الله تعالى: [[""أَجْمَعَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ عَلَى عِظَمِ مَوْقِعِ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ، وَكَثْرَةِ فَوَائِدِهِ وَصِحَّتِهِ..."" ثم قال: ""قَالَ جَمَاهِيرُ الْعُلَمَاءِ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْعَرَبِيَّةِ وَالْأُصُولِ وَغَيْرُهُمْ: لَفْظَةُ (إِنَّمَا) مَوْضُوعَةٌ لِلْحَصْرِ، تُثْبِتُ الْمَذْكُورَ، وَتَنْفِي مَا سِوَاهُ."
