NYC Fire Wire Reviews

Very nice

laughalot60 on

United States

Found my ultimate fire buff app. I was a volunteer for 22 years but stopped when I moved to a different state. I enjoy listening to the FDNY and this app makes it easier to keep tabs on what’s going on since I can scan all the fire boroughs. The alerts may be slightly delayed and there was one all hands under control that never made it on the alerts today but that’s a very minor detail. Over all it’s very nice. Keep up the good work.

Advertising Chicago in Facebook, but no Chicago

MacGuruTx on

United States

Downloaded the app because it poppped Up as a Facebook ad that they were now supporting Chicago. But the feed selection will not let you select Chicago. Also notice every other review is more then 3 yrs old. Dead app? Perhaps?

Needs a few improvements

Please add a filter for types and fires, Including Li Ion battery fires and Long Island Counties / towns. Thanks!

Great

United States

This app is really good and I like it. But the suggestion I have is to cover small emergencies not just big fires. Like cover gas leaks water leaks ems calls MVA.

Chats broken

Don't search it on

United States

My chats is broken! Every time I try to chat it won’t post! If someone can please me how to fix it.

Awesome! But one suggestion.

TRAINLOVER212 on

United States

This app is amazing for fire-buffs. Maybe the number one app for this sort of thing. The only suggestion I have, is to PLEASE cover smaller emergencies. I noticed a notification only pops up for LARGE emergencies or large fires. Please give us a heads up about smaller calls, like gas leaks, trash fires, and could we be noticed about where units are responding to also? Thanks.

Not Impressed

The Astute Tourist on

United States

I was hoping to be able to use this app and give a great review but it won’t let sign up for a log in. I’ve tried for 3 weeks now hoping there was an error on their end and it would be corrected. Disappointed.

Subscriptions

Lenzo90 on

United States

Don’t waste your money on the premium subscription, they charge 5.99 a month which is expensive and they do not keep up with posts and notifications for Long Island. Not worth the money at all. Buyer beware.

iOS 13

Mont3149 on

United States

After upgrading to IOS 13 I stopped receiving notifications. Hope the app will be updated to fix this issue.
