NZ Topo Maps

Paid for the app so I could download multiple sections but it won’t allow me to download anything due to errors and zooming in enough to get detail causes it to go blank. Please fix!

Used to be usable. Paid for extra maps but recently it freezes as soon as you open it. Also unusable UX trying to find which map to download after purchase.

This app relative to others is clunky frustrating and unreliable. Downloading maps is a nightmare Even then they sometimes don’t cache so don’t provide the resolution you are looking for. Finding the map you want to download is impossible as it’s not referenced on the global map. The waypoint referencing is terrible I swapped this for topo gps.. far better cheaper , more reliable and user friendly.

Was originally very good maps, now it lags out and freezes

Locks up all the time and the developer is hard to contact for assistance. If they left usable contact info that would be good.

This app used to be great no problems - now for 3 months I haven’t been able to download the map sheets for use offline reliably at all. It gets half way though a download and then either says ‘download failed check your internet connection’ or ‘download failed couldn’t reach LINZ data’. This is really frustrating as this is my favourite Topo map but has become unusable, spending hours attempting to download maps but failing? Annoying when I pay for it too! Any help on how to make it work again would be welcomed - tried zooming out and selecting the map square instead of selecting from the maps page list - still does the same thing. Tried deleting and reloading the app - same thing but now I’ve lost all my maps. My internet connection is not the problem as it’s happened in multiple locations.

App looks so good, wish it worked. But it freezes after a few seconds of scrolling all the time. Restarting app does not help, must wait 2 minutes each time. Also can’t zoom in because at certain point it automatically switches to a different type of map with no trails and no roads, which is of no use.

Same as most other reviews, try to zoom in when offline and it just goes dark or blurs out.

Hi, I have the app as a replacement for the now defunct ViewRanger. I have paid for the maps but can not download any of the 50 series? I’m running a 13 pro with the latest update. Thanks
