Terrible delivery service even with receiving in the mail

I’ve been a long-time reader of the Observer-Reporter, but this app makes it hard to stay loyal. No bylines on articles – that’s basic stuff. The app itself is clunky and missing features, pushing me back to the website, which honestly isn’t much better. The whole experience is frustrating and makes me question if it’s worth the hassle.

I recently subscribed to the OR so I could access the news using the OR app. I quickly discovered that I would have to log in EVERY TIME I wanted to use the app, even though I select the option to keep me logged in. I contacted the OR about this and they actually told me the app was “not robust enough” to keep me logged in. They recommend that I not use the app and log in using Safari. So therefore this app is USELESS. Here’s a great idea… FIX THE APP!!!

Really difficult to use this app. Even logging onto the app. I get more information when I don’t go in the app. I use many different newspapers online and this one I find very difficult.

The e-edition fails to load, giving an error message: Too many requests. Too many from my device, all users, the server? I want to use this when I travel but it is practically useless. News and some columns sometimes load, obituaries are a pain to access, and old items are mixed with newer ones.

Terrible. Absolutely terrible. I have to keep signing in to even see the e edition. And then again I don't see much. Guess I should just cancel paper and e edition.

Why won’t the obituary page load. I agree with everyone that this app is horrible

This app is BY FAR the worse app I’ve ever downloaded. It is not user friendly and obviously by all the bad reviews the owners of this paper does not care. Just opening their app is so frustrating. Why must you tap 3 or 4 different buttons just to view the front page?? This isn’t rocket science. One teenager with limited IT knowledge could probably correct this issue in a couple of hours. Like one of the other reviewers, I too would rate it a zero if that were an option.
