OC Flex Reviews

Bus ride.

Laura Chagan, our bus driver, was amazing from start to finish—definitely a 5-star experience! She greeted us with a warm smile and kept the ride smooth and enjoyable. We ended up chatting about the iconic Mike Tyson fight the conversation so much fun. On top of that, she casually dropped some pro tips for getting the best out of Chipotle (who knew you could customize your order like that?). Laura Chagan wasn’t just a driver; she was the highlight of our trip.

Pay before verify? No way.

Silly app requires that I buy a pass before knowing there’s a ride available where & when I need it. And if not, I lose my money. Good luck with that logic.

Great Day Rate For Commuters

Allow at least an hour of time prior to booking. The is isn’t Uber, but it’s the best public transport you can get for this area. Sure, you may spend a little more time, as it is a carpool service, but the drivers are all friendly, know their routes, and always deliver in a timely fashion. As a commuter, you pay once for the whole day 4-5 bucks and can use it to get around as many times as you need in 12 hours. This blows rideshare like Uber/ Lyft out of the water and won’t break the bank getting to and from work/ grocery/ etc. Highly recommended, massively underrated.

Best first OC Flex ride ever

So great I couldn’t be more happy. My driver was a Christian driver and I just loved it overall best experience of my life. Yes, I am very Catholic so anyone who wants to hate on me or my driver can go talk to God about that.

Love the app, hate complainers

Love the app, I was amazed to see so many people complaining about technical features, it not being available in more areas, etc. But last time I checked, they didn’t have to do this, and without this there would still be no public transport to get around Aliso Viejo… be thankful kids.

Great!

This is a great way for recapturing the tax dollars OC residents have spent. I had a great experience riding OC flex. The driver was kind and responsible. The negative reviews seem to be left by people who do not understand this app is only for reserving rides “on the day” of the travel. Not for tomorrow or any day after tomorrow. That being said, I have not had trouble reserving rides on the day I need to travel.

$25 down the drain!

I’ve tried riding with OC Flex on 5 separate occasions. My drivers have either failed to show up or showed up but refused to let me in (without reason). I’m patient, show up early, and I wear my mask. Never again am I paying $4.50 for a Flex Pass!! 😡😡 As for the UI, pressable buttons shouldn’t be grayed out. The map also needs to be more accurate so I can actually tell where the bus is.

Amazing Service! Thank you!

So thankful for the city of LN for having this amazing and much needed service. The staff who picked me up from the train station today were very professional and explained everything to me being my first time riding with OC Flex. Very thankful to you all especially for your kindness.
