Good service and easy shopping experience
We’ve used Ocado for several years. The last 3 shops have been derived from “favourites” despite several edits to the basket and confirmation from the app that order was confirmed. We have hundreds of pounds of goods we didn’t order or want. Not acceptable.
I’ve been a loyal Ocado customer for >5 years and use the app at least once a week. The number of bugs and glitches has steadily increased over time to the point where it’s now so frustrating to place an order. Loading of offers and correct pricing of items is my main gripe. This app has definitely gone backwards and unfortunately to the point now where I shall need to switch to another supermarket.
When syncing calendar, the entry is added every time a shop is edited with the result that several calendar items are then in the calendar (all the same/ same time). Appreciate if someone could fix.
For a company like Ocado to have such a poor app is astonishing. Constantly tells me I’m offline when I’m not so it takes several goes to search successfully, one click rarely works as it suggests there’s issues with the payment card when there isn’t, either that or again it suggests I’m offline?! Sort it out Ocado!! Just to add to the developer response, I’m OCD about such things, I always have the latest OS and app update, makes zero difference to the issues
Got many damaged items and the hassle of getting a refund even after submitting photos, is frustrating. The implication that you're lying is offensive. Never had this experience with other online supermarket shops. Not only that but the drivers are rude too when you have to deal with them. Who knows why Marks partner exclusively with them. Easier to go to the store.
Do not save products as fav, the app pauses for ages and then resets to the beginning again, funny how its easy to add but VERY TIME consuming to remove them. I do not understand how a company that in effect sells its software to others based on this APP! Yet it feels like a 90s UI overlayed on a web based system, and feels nothing like a native iOS app. Even basic functions takes you out of the so called APP! Onto Ocados website. Apple needs to clamp down on web apps claiming to be native iOS apps.
Lots of bugs and gremlins in this app now, which is odd because it’s basically the same as the Morrison’s app, and that works fine.
Currently it’s necessary leave the favourites list to open the item and deselect favourite, then the app freezes for several seconds and the list is reset to the top so your position in it is lost. Really clunky should be able to remove item’s favourite status without opening the item first and list position should be maintained Update: had fast response from the developer (Rory) which was nice, with suggestions to try “Shopping Lists” as an easier way to manage favourites ect. Haven’t tried this yet but review upgraded based on dev response
The update payment details has disappeared!
