Off - WoL & Wolow for Windows

I downloaded it on my pc and it worked exactly how I wanted it to.

Really appreciate the intuitive interface and well-honed functionality of this app. The PC helper functions as a great working partner for the app, easily connecting both in-network and remotely with little need to dig deep into settings and fix firewall or router issues. A favorite amongst these type of apps — and I have tried most of them!

I was constantly having to drive over to my office to reboot my computers that my team remotes into on a regular bases…. key word being WAS now I can just do it all from home. This has saved me so much in gas and time!

windows installer isn’t signed and has a pop-up message it was created with trial software. the next day i went to wake my computer from sleep, and it wouldnt wake up. I had to reboot it like six times to get into the recovery menu and roll back to a restore point before i installed this.

Seems like a pretty decent app but it hardly works anymore. The first night I installed it the app worked like magic. I could sleep my Windows 11 computer, shut it down, hibernate it, etc. using either wifi or my cellular signal. It seemed too good to be true. However, the next day it hardly worked at all. The magic had gone. It hasn't worked well for weeks. Now, I have little doubt that this is a really good app; it's just not working well for me.

I tried posting a review a few minutes ago (my apologies for the double review). So so far the only issue I encountered. Was the fact that sometimes it refused to report its status to me and I had to keep repairing the windows client for it to work properly. I did figure out that re-adding the computer seem to fix my issue. I’m very happy with this app. And I will provide more feedback if there’s any more issues or bugs that I encounter. A simple solution For my need!

I have been looking for a WOL solution that works well for some time now. And this is quite honestly the best solution I have found to date. Features: Works from home, or on the road. Anywhere with internet that is to an agent install on your target machines. And it works well. More than one computer. I’m fairly sure I saw unlimited computers with a paid subscription. They offer lifetime subscription for 50$. I’m willing to be every person who buys that up front will get their money back and then some in power savings over time. That’s the true perk here… They also seek to have a product roadmap and tons on their suggestions board. I like what I see there too. Conclusion: This app is a no brainer. Not even an argument IMO.

Busy configuring a MacBook M2 for remote use, but still on my LAN. Tried to use Off to wake up the sleeping MBP so I could connect with TeamViewer. Did not wake up, regardless of router changes etc. Sent email to “Support,” not really expecting a response. Maybe in a week if that. Surprise response within hours. Solution within several days of back and forth emails with Mark. His updated version worked perfectly. Now that I can awaken the MBP, I can get on with the rest of my project.
