Keep Your Child Safer Online

Online predators are a reality. One in five children report being approached with unwanted sexual activity on their phone. And that is just what is reported. But now there’s a tool to help parents protect their children from sex offenders. Law enforcement agencies have partnered with OffenderWatch to offer the OffenderWatch APP , a new FREE app designed to notify parents of registered sex offenders in their neighborhood or near school or work. On the app you’ll be able to find sex offenders on a map, locate your family, and get alerts from law enforcement about sex offenders in your neighborhood.

You can also choose to add a Protect Plus subscription to enable monitoring of your child’s phone calls, text messages, emails and location. Parents will receive an alert if a child is contacted by a registered sex offender or lingers near a registered sex offender’s home. The basic app is free and the Protect Plus subscription is just $9.99 per year and covers the entire family.

The OffenderWatch app is on patrol for your child’s online safety.

The Only App Partnered with Law Enforcement

OffenderWatch is the only app that directly partners with law enforcement to analyze sex offender data. OffenderWatch cross-references sex offender data pulled directly from participating law enforcement departments with people contacting your child’s smartphone or device. If a registered sex offender in the OffenderWatch Network contacts your child via email — or if your child is near an offender’s home — you’ll be alerted.

Once you sign up with OffenderWatch you’ll also receive email alerts if a registered sex offender moves into your neighborhood but what about your child’s virtual neighborhood?

How the Protect Plus Subscription Works

1 Analyze Sex Offender Data

OffenderWatch uses accurate data provided directly by law enforcement to monitor communications from accounts of registered sex offenders.

2 Monitor Kids Device

There are two apps, one for the parent to manage the account and another to track their kids’ phones. The Parents app can be used to help set up your family for protection. Set up your kids’ phones , monitor their email or monitor their other activity stored in icloud. The kids app needs to be installed on your child’s phone as it monitors the location of the phone—working silently in the background and not interfering with the phone’s use or battery usage.

3 Alert Parents + Take Action

If a registered sex offender contacts your child using the methods monitoried or if your child lingers at and offender’s home address, you’ll receive an alert, BUT ONLY IF YOU ARE A PROTECT PLUS SUBSCRIBER. Giving your child a phone with no protection is like giving them a loaded gun and telling them not to shoot it. SIGN UP FOR PROTECT PLUS TODAY AND KEEP YOUR CHILDREN SAFE.
