Just a great way to get you to use your phone more and drain your battery, so you visit Vodaphone to get it charged back up. Great marketing poly 🙄
Much prefer a paper guide/booklet
I didn’t get any notifications saying so and so are starting in half an hour on the pyramid stage.
The app for Icelandairwaves does this and I never missed a band there, because the notifications came up long before the band started.
I’ll stick to ‘clashfinder’ thanks
Great app - Some recommendations…
Firstly, I loved how this synced and made recommendations based on my listening activity on Spotify. I’m terrible for remembering new to me or up and coming artists names and I found so many on the lineup that would’ve likely slipped through the net had it not been for this feature. It was great to share lineups with friends too so you could aim to meet for certain sets. The ‘You are hear’ arrow on the map was handy, but what would be really great is if you could also see where your friends are using the same colour code as you have synced for their lineups. Also, as it’s constantly tracking your activity, it would be good to sync up to the health app so you can track your steps and map where you’ve been as a nice to have. I was blown away to see that I’d walked over 60 mile over the weekend. That’ll be why my feet are in total tatters now…
Overall, great app and looking forward to seeing how it’ll be levelled up for next year (fingers crossed we get tickets again)
Great app
Love this year’s app, much better than previous ones. One tweak that would be awesome for next time is the ability to allow the line-up venues to be grouped by area, such as Silver Hayes, The Park etc or to list alphabetically. That way you could find out what was on where you are, instead of trawling through the list trying to find the venue you’re at or the ones near you.
Some Smart Technology Right There
Just wanted to say great work on this guys.
Very interested to know how the App always works and provides great location accuracy
In the most crowded areas.
(Got me back to camp several times with beer glasses)
Phone coverage is hit and miss but something this app is doing never fails.
This should be a must for other festivals..
Huge improvement on last year
Great app. One ask: 2 levels of favouriting in “my line-up”. Then you can go through selecting all your maybes, to get your long list, and then mark out your must-sees. That way, when you are on one side of the festival and realise you don’t fancy the schlep over to your next must-see, you’ve go your back-up maybes list to find something close by instead!
Best Glasto App so far
This has been the best app so far! I love the recommendation sync with Spotify, so easy to navigate. Extra filters, personalised filters. Someone who has experienced glasto must have been part of the development team this time around! 5*
Genres
It would be useful to put the genre next to the band name or have a list of bands and their genres. I’ve not heard of most of these bands but I know what kind of music I like. So would be a lot easier to find new music of your preference.
Timeline page is useless
The timeline page is absolutely infuriating to use. All of the band names are cut off, and if you tap them to view more info it adds them to your line-up, you then have to tap again to see the full band name and info.
Car price wrong
Hi guys, there’s a mistake on the app about the car parking price - it says it’s 55 quid but actually it’s 60!
Glastonbury app
It is a good app but then when I asked it for directions it took me to a different place, whether it was me or the app I don’t know. Although all together it was a great app and I highly recommend.
