Create several books and prints simultaneously, and work on them when it suits you. Combining your special moments in a personal, designed book has never been easier. In just a few minutes, you’ll let your pictures live beyond your phone. Do it on the go, or when relaxing at home.
How Once Upon works:
- Choose up to 594 images from your phone, tablet or computer
- Write a few captions (optional)
- Select from several pre-designed layout alternatives
- Repeat as many times as you wish! One book holds up to 200 pages
OUR PHOTO BOOKS
You select the format of your book once you’ve created your content. We have three alternative formats: Softcover Medium, Hardcover Medium and Hardcover Large. You can also choose to go with glossy or silk matte paper.

More hassle than it’s worth
Whole app needs updating. Reviews from 2 years ago saying it needs more customization and it doesn’t appear to have changed. You select all your photos in order but then when it generates the book they’re all out of order and you can only change so much. Especially if you’re having to adjust every photo out of 200. Even with the cover you can only pick between black or white background… Really? Are you kidding? Not worth it.

Man kann nicht mal aus dem Warenkorb etwas entfernen was ist das für eine billige Zbenutzeroberflache . The GUİ is not working!
Schön aber zu unflexibel
In der Hoffnung, ein stylishes & zügiges Fotobuch erstellen zu können habe ich OnceUpon ausprobiert. Leider ist die Software sehr restriktiv, so dass viele Seiten nicht so bestückt werden konnten, wie ich das wollte. Dann musste man doch selbst die Bilder zu den Seiten hinzufügen anstatt dass man eine Gesamtauswahl trifft und die Bilder dann zeitlich sortiert eingefügt werden. Alles in allem hätte ich mir von den Versprechungen und dem stattlichen Preis einfach viel mehr versprochen

Einfache Handhabung! Bin gespannt wie es geworden ist‘
Stilvolles Fotoalbum kinderleicht erstellt
Ich bin wirklich ein Fan von der App. Fand die ganzen klassischen Fotoalben- Anbieter einfach nur oldschool. Bin auch kein Fan davon erstmal die Bilder alle auf den PC zu ziehen. Da ich die Alben für unsere Urlaube nutze, fange ich das Album immer schon im Urlaub an zu erstellen, wenn ich Abends im Hotelzimmer bin. So spare ich mir die Arbeit zu Hause, wo man sich eh nur selten die Zeit nimmt. Finde auch toll, dass das Once Upon Team ständig daran arbeitet die App noch besser zu machen und Feedback umsetzt.
Einfache Bedienung, schönes Ergebnis
Super schöne Fotobücher, nur zwei Verbesserungswünsche: Die App sollte auch im Querformat funktionieren und die Seitenzahl sollte erhöht werden.

The app is very convenient, easy to use. Really great to create Photo books. Sometimes I wish for more editing features, e.g. cut photos, more designs/fonts.
