Because the minimalist design alarm did not work. For some reason it worked yesterday afternoon. No explanation for multiple notifications that can’t be accessed in any way I could figure out. Most reviews are years old. Maybe too minimalist.

I love the simple design and ease of setting. It’s just an alarm. Period. Hard to screw up. The devotees still need to work on iPad compatibility and when a decide rotates the screen is really messed up. Let’s get these bugs worked out!
I really like this ultra simple alarm app VERY much! It works perfectly and I can easily set the alarm within just a few seconds. The best part is that this alarm ALWAYS works. It has never failed me. It is truly the epitome of simplicity!!!

Come to find out the alarm didn't work, unbeknownst to me: my lack of the iPhone new setting features. Make sure your Notifications are intact. CW&T offers great customer support. They walked me thru my issue. This alarm is clean. Minimal. And extremely samurai!
Updates have been made to work with iOS 5 including the new notification center.
