App possibly snooping in the background

edc review on

I’ve been noticing something really strange with this app that really worth fixing, if not being done intentionally, I hope. Every time I have this app open and leave in the background after done checking it. There will be some vague static noise pulsing every 2-3 second emitting from the speakers of my phone. You can only hear it in a quiet environment or putting the speaker next to your ear. I had all background app disabled and it still doing it. It took me some time to figure what it was and what causes it until one day I try removing the background app one at a time and listen back after each one. Quitting this app is what stops it. Today, I discovered there is a pretty big abnormality of this app once it being used. I found out it’s been consuming a significant amount of battery life (38%) which makes it display on the top of the list from the batter health page in phone setting. It also indicated next to its icon with “ Audio, background activities”. So, is that mean this app is burning your battery life and listen to your conversations while hidden in the background? Or it’s simply a real bad bug wasn’t been able to be discovered by your engineer to provide a fix for a very long time? For sure, I don’t like it one way or the other. I am hopping the developer can look into this very seriously and fix it as matter of urgency if they sees this post. I need to use their service together with function of this app offers in a daily basis. I may write you an email just make the developer is alarm with this situation and getting resolved this problem. I can’t keep my self remembering force quit the app after every time done using the app.
