Description
Live traffic reports and cameras for Ontario including Toronto and Ottowa. Save your favorite cameras for quick access. The app was updated during September 2024.
KEY FEATURES:
Live data from The Ontario Ministry of Transportation:
- 362 traffic cameras covering Ontario.
- 191 traffic cameras covering Toronto.
- Today screen widget to show at a glance the nearest current traffic incidents.
- Dark Mode throughout the app (iOS13+).
- Optimised for all iPhone and iPad models.
MAP VIEW
- Shows current incidents, roadworks, winter road conditions and traffic cams
- Each incident is color coded as well as being represented by an icon showing the incident type.
- Clicking on an incident displays more detail right there on the map.
- The map view can also show live traffic camera images.
LIST VIEW
- Shows current incidents in order of distance from your current location (closest incidents are shown first).
- Each incident is color-coded to indicate the severity of the delay.
- You can quickly see the distance the incident is from you, the road name and the type of incident.
- The detail view shows the description together with a map showing the location.
- Full search functionality, works across both the list and map views.
TRAFFIC CAM FAVORITES
- Save your favorite cameras for quick access to see how clear/congested your usual routes are.
TODAY WIDGET
- Shows at a glance the nearest current traffic incidents without launching the app.
PERSONALISE
- Toggle traffic information on the map.
- Toggle auto refresh of camera images (will refresh every 10 seconds).
- Toggle always show map on app launch.
- Toggle winter road conditions.
- You can configure which incidents are displayed according to the severity of the delay caused.
- Kilometres or Miles setting.

Winter Conditions not working
Bought the app bundle (ont and bc) for the road conditions. This feature still does not work on iPad, which is the device I installed it on. Please fix.
Amazing App, Great Customer Service
This app is amazing, I snowplow would being able to access all these cameras in a nice layed out app is amazing. Toronto has some data errors with their cameras some times, but the customer service responded quick to my email they were very nice and had the issue fixed within minutes. Great app, I recommend getting
Ontario roads app
I love this app. I use it daily to help my older children navigate the highways around Toronto and Ottawa. While I love the road conditions recently added I love that I’m able to switch it off so I can concentrate on accidents to help navigating the busy highways. Would recommend to everyone
Awful
Not what I was expecting!!! Need up to date road conditions!! This app tells me nothing! I want my money back!!
Good app
So far the app is good. Recently I suggested that road conditions due to weather should be included. I got a reply and they now are. Nice to a developer so responsive.
Needs major improvement
App works sometimes but crashes often or doesn’t show info even though it says you online.
Disappointed
Would really like to see the road conditions as you would on the internet. Would be way more helpful to see if visibility is good or not or what you are getting into as you drive to your destination. Not worth the money.

I find it helpful if i am going to be travelling on the highway. I can avoid accidents
Very disappointing
As it stands, certainly not worth the money. Sparse information, still unable to load cameras. I had expected to be able to see road conditions (bare, partially covered, covered, closed, etc) as I can on a similar Alberta based app. If this app has been on the market for at least a year, as it appears, the developer has not addressed the issues identified by previous years. The app is not helpful at all, and I feel “ripped off”.
