We are the UK's first electric vehicle subscription service. Just imagine having access to a network of the best electric vehicles at the click of a button!
Onto (Formerly Evezy) is the first UK all-inclusive electric car subscription. What we mean by all-inclusive, is that it is one monthly cost that includes absolutely everything, so you don’t have to worry about:
Servicing / MOT / Tax / Insurance / Wear & Tear / Breakdown cover / Fuel
Our service provides you with all the benefits of an electric car with none of the hassle of ownership.
In terms of the fuel, we provide a membership card for public charging which allows you to access a network of chargers, all included in your monthly subscription.
However we also have some clever features available, including a swap feature. This enables you to swap your car if you wish, on demand. For example, whenever the battery runs low and you don’t have time to charge the car yourself, you can schedule to swap your car with another car of the same model, year and spec. You simply go to where the nearest fully charged car is, park your current car, put it on charge then lock it using the app. Then you are able to unlock the new car, take it off charge and carry on your journey with a fully charged car! It is that simple.

Onto FAQ
Is Onto free?
Yes, Onto is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Onto legit?
⚠️ The Onto app has poor ratings and negative feedback. Users seem unsatisfied with its performance or features.
Broke down at 3k miles. Onto was no help left me stranded on a A road when their meant to have me covered by RAC. Go for the more expensive ones they may be better. But customer service is dead, whole experience is just terrible for me. Hope this helps someone
Terrible customer service
I made a complaint with Onto back in June. I have had no rest since August despite several emails asking for an update.
In the meantime all they want to do is randomly take money that they are not owed and threaten you with legal action.
The price for everything keeps increasing and mileage allowance has gone from 1000 to 750. Collection and car swap price the latest to increase.
Great concept, shame about the app!
As others have stated, don’t expect the app to accurately reflect your:
- Mileage
- State of charge
- Location
Only refreshes every few hours so always a lag in the info for the above.
Still waiting for refund
Took £600 from me
drop the car off a week later closed my account
because the way I was driving the car
and I’m still waiting for my money back Customer service is crap charges
Added extra Charges are way too expensive
Please avoid and be very cautious if you are signed up with them
Can’t be trusted
At first view this App seems very good, but it doesn’t update you your monthly mileage allowance reliably. This can then lead to you over shooting your allowance and you being fined for excess miles, paul5371
Good service, rubbish app
I like the service, but the app is only useful for seeing how many miles you have left. The only way to update the battery data is to force quit the app it seems. Battery data also doesn’t update while the car is charging.
App Doesn’t Work
Okay, so I’ve not yet subscribed for a car, but was thinking about it. However, a few days ago I used the app and could browse nicely through all the cars etc… Yesterday and today I tried using the app and I just get a bunch of raw HTML displayed on my phone when I try to browse the cars. Could I suggest a bit more investment in getting the UX right and tightening up the app. The concept is great, but the solution is shaky at the moment.
Terrible!!
Terrible UX and functionality, the updates work only sometimes and are sporadic.
Seriously disappointing
I’ve been waiting for a refund for a month.
I initially requested it 30th April, I was pleased because they responded fairly quick and promised a refund within 7 working days. I didn’t receive it and emailed again on 12th may where they apologised and said I would receive it as soon as possible..it’s not 31st and I still haven’t received it.
The reason I wanted to cancel is due to living on a road in central London and not having access to private parking means I’ll have to pay and additional parking fee everyday. If parking was included and if this worked then it would be ideal to proceed with.
I would be advise those thinking about joining to re-think as reviews are not great as it is.
Love onto, but the app is not fit for purpose.
The app alone would be 1* but given I like onto, I don’t want to be too harsh
Luckily you don’t need to use the app heavily to use the service (which I’ve no complaints with) but the app is just awful
Battery remaining % and mileage remaining on your contract are often woefully outdated and go weeks without updating
Car location sometimes works, sometimes doesn’t. You’re supposed to be able to track the car when it’s on its way to you but that never works and it shows it still at the depot, even when the driver arrives outside
Remote lock and unlock “works” but is too slow to be usable and when you have a physical key, there is just no contest, so it’s worthless. Though I am glad you have a physical key because I’d think twice if I was made to use the app alone.
You are told to lock and unlock the car with the app regularly to “kickstart” it (which in itself sounds very outdated), but I’ve tried that and it makes no difference. It has a mind of its own.
The only thing you have to use the app for is taking possession of the car (clicking a key button). Beyond that, I don’t find I need it, or use it
Don’t want to be hard on the onto service and concept but I would say, if you’re going to have an app, make it good, or else don’t bother, because you just get criticism. I get it, you’re trying to make a fleet of different cars interact with your technology and some will be better than others, but I’d say if it doesn’t work seamlessly, you’re doing yourselves a disservice by even releasing the app and trying to stand behind it
