I use it almost daily
One month it never stays on my location when opening the app, another it won’t load topo, another it takes forever to load my pins, there just always seems to be some delay or glitch going on with onX. I’m actively shopping for a new Hunt map app
I paid for the elite membership which cost me a lot (I’m not rich) only for it to not work at all. I was in KY and I gave me no property lines, wether the land was public or private, or wether I could hunt there! Its a scam. Don’t waste you’re money on this. This only state it kinda works in is my own state of Wisconsin. Even there tho, it offers ZERO information on the hunt unit. I live in a major city and I say I can hunt in my neighborhood lol. I’m a cop, k know I can’t do that. I’ll be looking for a refund asap.
They’ve taken most of the benefits of a basic membership ($35/yr) and moved them to a much more expensive package. Now it’s $35 a year for a map that you can get on google earth/Apple Maps for free. Just a $$ grab now.
Charged me after canceling.
I use this app for several different things and love it! The customer service is great also.
This app is great. I love the map layers and the colored overlays. Really helps keep track of things. Especially when there are multiple different wildlife areas all with their own rules. BUT… It lacks some of the features that other apps have. ESPECIALLY when it comes to weather, first light/last light, wind, etc. it’s a hunting app for crying out loud. First light/last light should be mandatory. I would love to see deer “predictions” such as “intel” from spartan forge.
I have used OnX maps for several years now and am happy with their app and also their support
I have a stand and this app forces rotation on my iPad so I can’t use my stand but maybe I’m missing something.
