Works when it wants too, not necessarily when I want it too.
The link to your infotainment screen in car fails to show a stabilised map to follow. The screen just has a graphic grid and a dot moving. No visual alerts.
Despite driving the same route, it doesn’t always alert. Also it should show MPH in UK. Finally the app is very poor.
It’s such a shame that the physical alert with the button is useful - but the app has a few problems. The most egregious being incorrect maximum speed information. 30 MPH cameras will notify you as 48 MPH cameras. An obvious issue of it meaning to say 48 KPH, which would be correct if the unit of measurement was the same! Not only then is the speed limits incorrect, but there is no option to toggle to true MPH.
MPH is actually KM SPEED. and speed limits are way out. Doesn’t show traffic work speed changes either even though they’ve been there for two years. Needs a lot of improvement
map is using KM while we use miles. Notifications volume must have different level like our music system. but this has normal loud and quite
Negatives: 1. map doesnt have voice guidance 2. No warnings for known mobile speed trap area’s 3. No over speed warning between average speed cameras The only positive is if you know where you are going without using your sat nav it warns of fixed cameras without putting a destination into the maps/navigation. A lot better options out there to use such as cyclops
Giving me wrong speed limits on roads I know and alerts for nothing sort it out we pay good money not for this
I had high hopes for the ooono, decided to go for the Upto date model No.2 which kind of lived up to its name Here’s what I liked It’s small , compact , portable. Built in speaker is reasonable , but no good if playing music What I didn’t like Didn’t always start on ignition , so… not trustworthy. Didn’t always detect cameras, sometimes the same one it detected earlier. When it does send warnings , sometimes these are irrelevant as it’s a camera on a different road. What I would change for v3 maybe give it a screen to show speed limit and camera distance as a countdown…. Don’t just give one warning , if still speeding .. throw in another to re warn in case driver missed first … make that louder and more urgent, only give warnings for cameras on the road driver is on. As I said , sent mine back , better ways to waste £60. Looking for a better alternative now
