Open: Breathwork + Meditation

A Mindfulness Studio

Published by: Open

Description

“We believe that mindfulness is more than a form of stress relief — it can be a tool for personal growth, deeper understanding, vibrancy. More than a way to disconnect — it can be a way to feel a part of something bigger. More than simply silence — it can be immersive, beautiful, moving.”
–Raed Khawaja, Open Co-founder & CEO

CLASSES
BREATHE: Since the dawn of civilization, humans have developed techniques for manipulating our breath to induce desired states of consciousness. Now peer-reviewed studies in neuroscience and psychology confirm that breathwork is a powerful toolkit for regulating your nervous system, optimizing your health and well-being, and catalyzing personal transformation. Breathwork is an umbrella term for myriad practices, both ancient and modern. While many techniques are deeply rooted in spiritual traditions like Yoga, Qi Gong, and Buddhism, contemporary applications integrate ancient wisdom with modern science. This synthesis of ancient and modern has given rise to transformational breathwork, designed to induce profound experiences of catharsis, insight, and breakthrough. Experience a mental reset with just a few minutes of conscious breathing.

MEDITATE: Train your awareness and contemplate wisdom – with techniques that span generations, cultures, and traditions – with our daily meditations and monthly programs. Learn how to enhance your focus, reduce your stress and anxiety, and regulate your emotions with simple mindfulness techniques you can incorporate into your daily life.

MOVE: Our methodology is designed through the intelligence of fitness – blending endurance, strength, mobility, and recovery – with the wisdom of mindfulness. A ritual for resilience, strengthening the body and mind.
ANYTIME, ANYWHERE: Practice on your time with our endless library, with fresh classes added daily. From simple 5-minute breathwork techniques, to 60-minute strength and conditioning classes, build your practice to fit your schedule and meet your goals. Whether you’re starting your journey or seeking a new challenge, there are classes for every level and mood.
PROGRESS TRACKING: Create a daily habit that sticks with progress tracking, push reminders, streaks, and badges. A consistent breathwork and meditation practice has proven to reduce cortisol levels and regulate the nervous system–decreasing stress, supporting emotional well-being, and enhancing mental clarity. These techniques can also improve physical health by increasing heart rate variability, promoting cardiovascular health, and boosting immune function.

Open: Breathwork Reviews

Refund

Ebony Swan on

United States

This was accidentally order for a year and not one month, although I just found cancellation in app it’s not giving refund for months that tenth to be used.

Leap of faith

Landback1491 on

United States

I love how even starting off I’m reminded to take these moments for my own well being. I am grateful to have found this app and I’m barely on day 2

Discovered this app when needed most

allieallerson on

United States

I have only just begun inner work and healing through Open and as someone who works in the mental health field caring for others, this is something I have neglected to do for myself. The guided meditations and breath work are phenomenal. However due to the price of an annual subscription I am worried I won’t be able to continue. I can see daily use of Open as being life changing and highly recommend! 💞

Charged without subscribing

I was charged $20 without subscribing. It seems like a scam..

App Review

SH/BGR8 on

United States

This is definitely the tool that I was missing in the tool bag. I love it. I’m only 3 days in and I’m looking Neto tomorrow

I can download the app

jennalent on

United States

For whatever reason, I can’t download the app. It keeps asking me for my password. This is the only app I’m having this issue with.

An expensive timer

redrosetree on

United States

The app has great UI and is beautiful. Meanwhile the only feature I truly use is the timer. The classes are ok. There are many options for class type, instructors and music. I prefer a more traditional style class. I purchased to share the yoga activity with Strava, however the data is not shared, only that the user completed an activity. Users may as well manually upload an activity to Strava.

Great meditation app

stewgoats on

United States

This the 3rd mediation app I’ve tried then consistently used for at least 2 months. Open is by far my favorite. Using this app has improved my meditation practice. Something about it has helped me develop mediation as a more consistent habit.

Great! Except for Olivia..

Tatato29 on

United States

There’s so much to love about this app but I really wish that one teacher Olivia O wasn’t on there. I’ve tried so hard but her voice and South African accent is rough I skip it whenever it’s her recording which makes like idk 15% of it unusable. And before you jump to conclusions this is from someone who has multiple passports and has lived in 3 continents
