OpenLane. Eat. Bowl Reviews

Great Update!

ekociela on

United States

I just got into bowling this year and was excited to track my stats over time with OpenLane, only to realize the app was basically just a score history at best. This new update adds loads of stats and I can’t wait to keep bowling and work to improve on them. I was also wishing for the ability to delete games because some of my practice rounds I focus on something specific like a change to my form or spare shooting and don’t worry about the score. It seems as though they added the ability to “hide” games, but at the moment it’s not working for me. If I hide games nothing changes in my stats. Hopefully that will be fixed soon.

Really solid

Previously i complained about a few things related to adding yourself to a lane and getting scores and both things seemed to have been addressed server-side. There's now a seamless experience in and out of the bowling alley. Really like this app now and would bump my review from three to four and a half stars if I could. The only thing keeping me from giving it 5/5 is I wish you had the ability to add friends to share/compare scores with. I have some friends I frequently bowl with but we don't always go together, so it'd be cool if we could see each others games when we aren't bowling together.

"Reward points"

Psyquestor on

United States

Our local bowling alley has the sync scoring system using the OpenLane app, but does not take loyalty points as payment. I can't find a listing of alleys that does accept points. Blah blah garbage. Unlike some other apps, this app won't tell you your most common missed, splits or suggest corrections. You can do better Brunswick.

It will not give me any of my rewards points even though I qualify for quite a few of them

Never works anymore

JV 5thWard on

I bowl 6 days a week and for the last six months this system has failed to give me my points I should have a substantial amount I bowl open play any where from six to twelve games and bowl league four nights a week and yet I receive nothing from open lanes anymore this is awful that I should be using my rewards instead of my money!

No scores, no points

Xregionscustomer on

United States

I haven’t received any points since I installed the app and my scores haven’t updated in months. I’ve bowled several 200 games, and also bowl in a couple of leagues on top of the open play time.

glitch issue

silky1970 on

United States

recently went practiced to prep for a tournament, had 19,000 points used some points for 4 free games of play… went back the next day to practice some more ‘n’ suddenly my point total was -11,000 < wasn’t aware that’s even possible > tried deleting app ‘n’ reinstalled it but that didn’t fix the issue.. so what’s the next move to get my points back

Poor App
