great app overall. only downside is the fact that it doesn’t have many webcams
I’ve only been using this app for a week now and I’m already more than thrilled by it. Coming from an area that doesn’t have mountains nor get dumped on by snow, when I’m looking for a ski trip, I want to know there’s snow… and from what I’ve seen and experienced so far - this is that! Not to mention, the many layers on the map feature that you can utilize and the general cleanliness of the main My Location dash - this has replaced my other weather apps easily. I’m excited to continue reading the Daily Snows, plan some trips to the mountains, and watch (and hope) for snow in my area too! Thanks for such an incredibly detailed and amazing app!
I’ve used OpenSnow forecasts for over 5 years and have been a paid subscriber for at least 3 years. The app provides all the info you need to plan a ski day or a ski trip. The regional and “chase powder” written forecasts are awesome and the 10-day forecast chart is my daily go-to.
OpenSnow has been my go to weather app for many years. Very reliable and led by an amazing team of weather people who are skiers that know the resorts and the back country really well for the areas that they cover. Keep up the great work!
These app developers have thought completely out of the box when it comes to forecasting snow for riding on the mountain! Since they are skiers/boarders themselves, they created tools within the app that is the very best available. It's worth the subscription just for the expert analysis.
I really enjoy the way the forecast and ski totals are laid out and the in depth forecast description of storms hitting the U.S. particularly northern Utah.
I use OpenSnow constantly in winter. It tells me ski conditions all over the state and anywhere in the world. It's also great in summer for hiking and mtn biking. Probalby my favoritie app on my phone and iPad.
I use this app year round. The ability to have super accurate point forecasts is amazing. The map overlays are super. I mean, land ownership? Smoke/fires? Foliage? Way more than a snow sports app. And the forecaster insights are always solid. I would not want to be without OpenSnow.
Open Snow is really accurate (much better than NOAA) with snow/rain forcasts with hour by hour includes winds! I love the location where you are in the wilderness any time of year. It really helps when planning ski days and hiking. So many features & take time to learn the maps. I've not spent time using all the map features.
