I run this and it gives me basicly the same results every time. My upload is higher then my download, makes no sense. when I run the test the bandwith monitor of my router shows absolutly no activity, not the case with other test progrqams I ran, they always show activity. Maybe its me, but I don't see how this thing does anything!

My wireless router seems to be disconnecting every few minutes sometimes, so I'm really happy to have found this app that can run a continuous test over various periods of time, then I can have data to send to my ISP so they'll fix my router. Thanks for making this user-friendy, I was up and running within minutes.

This only had one rating and the description here didn't really do it justice. Check out the developers site for a better overview. This is an excellent solution for comparitive speed assessment on your local LAN (and can be used beyond that). I installed it (the application is "the server") on my wired Mac Studio and then test the network speeds from all of my laptops, iPad, and iPhones around the house to assess WiFi connectivity and performance with a simple browser connection. Great stuff.
I have gigabit nic's and got 974.7 down and 992.8 upload.
