I only used app to check balance and upload receipts to the Receipt Vault. Contrary to description/image in App Store the Receipt button is no longer in the app.
Login taking over minute to loan home page , this is really annoying. —— Now it seems fixed. Thanms

To verify identity it wants gives you the option to get a code sent to ur phone or get a phone call. Every time you try text or call for verification, you get a 404 error. “Resend” also triggers the 404 error. Tried everything: logging out and logging back in, clearing the app from my history, even deleting and redownloading the app and it still does it. Also not specifically about the app but the company itself, they take a pretty hefty chunk out of your money every month (higher than I would say is reasonable) for account maintenance and also take a high percentage out of your investments too. Really wish my employer didn’t use these guys. This company knows your stuck with them and totally takes advantage ://
I can’t access my Optum card via the app. The whole reason for downloading the app was to add the card to my Apple Wallet. I called Optum and they told me they don’t have a technical support department they could transfer me to. I clicked on the “contact support” link under the app page in the App Store and it redirected me to their home page. Frustrating. UPDATE: the developer responded to say this issue should be fixed now. It’s not. The app says “[NAME] does not have a card for this account” when I definitely have a card I’ve been using all year. There is no option to add a digital card either. Only to order a physical card to my mailing address. Please try again.
I would appreciate knowing why it takes multiple weeks, sometimes over a month, before my HSA payroll deductions appear in my HSA account. I’ve routinely had a full month go by with no deposits. Where is my money held during these lapses? Who’s earning / keeping that interest?
I should have gained access to the Optum app two months ago, but despite downloading the app and completing all the required steps, I still cannot log in. Every attempt leads me back to an orange screen asking to sign in with my health ID—the same username and password I’ve used repeatedly. Not only have I been unable to access my account balances, but I’ve also encountered poor customer service. I’ve called three times to report the issue, received no meaningful updates, and today was transferred to the technical team, which never answered. I’ve followed all instructions, tried multiple browsers, and gone through troubleshooting steps with the Unhelpful support desk—all to no avail. Adding to the frustration, I never received the health savings card associated with this account. This is unacceptable, especially when dealing with health savings accounts. Please address these technical issues immediately.
In a world of useless apps, Optum Bank has created something with real value.
As long as I manage my reciepts in my photos app and do not use optum bank for file management…it’s almost not a pain to use.
