Oracle Fusion Expenses Reviews
No longer authenticates via SSO, antiquated UI
Really struggling with how bad the mobile app is. From its dated and unfriendly mobile UI, to the frequent crashes, the challenges with authenticating with SSO leave me high and dry. I can almost get the work done via the other fusion app (formerly HCM) but few of the screens are optimized for mobile within expenses UI. This should be table stakes for a cloud offering and the delivery is woefully deficient
Horrible
My company recently switched from Expensify to this app. It’s been a disaster. The app is extremely buggy and requires significant extra time to submit simple expenses, taking time away from actual work tasks. Where Expensify could easily and accurately scan all necessary info from a photo of a receipt the Oracle app is useless for scanning, all information has to be filled in manually and many corrections require the submitter to go to the web interface. Our traveling salesforce absolutely hates this.
Save yourself and your team the headaches and endless calls to your IT and finance departments and use Expensify or other service.
Don’t bother
In theory this app is great idea and it would be lovely if it actually worked. But more times than not it doesn’t work and unless you don’t mind constantly uninstalling and reinstalling the application and dealing with getting it set up it’s really not worth it. Oracle has done little to update or keep up with this application, so I would avoid it. If I could give it zero stars, I would.
Chutiya App
Doesn’t work
Garbage App. Apparently No Engineers at Oracle
Cumbersome interface that looks like it might have been conceived pre-2000; booted out of the app about every three hours and forced to sign in; no way to set an exchange rate preference, so have to scroll through the list with every entry when traveling; and, the best one, app crashes mid-entry about 60% of the time (naturally no partial entry is saved, so back to the beginning of logging the expense you go!).
This would be great if someone who knew what they were doing designed it. Unfortunately they didn’t and created this clunky abomination.
Unable to use SSO
Unable to use SSO to get to mobile expense app. Works on Android but not in IOS and no issue on web. Reported issue in MOS, response was not helpful.
Crashes a lot
I don’t quite understand why even make an all that actually is inferior and doesn’t quite work right? This is a fortune 100 company - figure it out or don’t do it..
Doesn’t pull expenses entered on computer.
Cannot sync and retrieve expenses entered on computer. I was trying to upload receipts using phone. App is also outdated/scaled to fit—clearly designed long ago and just ported to the later iOS versions.
2012 called. It wants its outdated app back.
This is an absolutely frustrating app to use. Cumbersome, clunky, and buggy. Why scan receipts if we have manually enter almost every field? So far a painful transition from Expensify.
