OrigNotes

Very underrated, this is one of the best free apps for note taking, the developers have done an amazing job, one thing is the app’s zoom function is a bit laggy, other than that great app, would love to see more feature updates for it as well! -edit: in fact after ages of searching I’ve found this wonderful app, the developers are quite regular with updates and the app is just looking ahead. Please go for it as no free app is this good.

Been using for long time now still no issues with a lot of features

Like the Good Notes App, its brush/Any pen does not work smoothly (like stretching word on writing )and Highlighter pen is needed so that any word can be clearly visible. Zoom box for writing and calligraphy pen is very important

This app is an amalgama of all the good features of Goodnotes and Notability and it’s free. However, there is some room for improvement. I have tried all freemium notemaking apps like Collanotes, Freenotes, Notes+, and trial versions of Goodnotes and Notability. And finally I settled for Orignotes because I see a potential in it. Here are my 10 requests to the developers. I know some of these are in your list but I would request to keep these in your priority list as most users will like these improvements. All my requests are in decreasing priority order. Duplicate Option of selected content (as in Goodnotes) A feature regarding shape recognition which I cannot explain in text. This feature is present in Goodnotes and Notability but not in here. I will email your team a clip of what feature I am requesting. Fill color in shapes (as in Goodnotes) Sticker library (as in Goodnotes and almost all notemaking apps) Highlighter optimisation i.e. highlighter should lie below the content (as in Goodnotes) and not over the content. Select image with double click (as in Notability) This makes illustrative notemaking much easier. Erase-only highlighter (as in Goodnotes) Customisable Tool Bar (as in Goodnotes) Dashed Pen - - - - (as in Notability) Short Buffer and appearance pf a message automatically added page’ This is absent in other seamless note making apps like Notability, Freenotes and Collanotes. You can remove it. 2 Selection Boundaries of Lasso Tool appear around the selected content. This is bit confusing. One is the freehand lasso selection and other is the inner boundary. I will email a screenshot of it to you. I request to make only 1 selection boundary visible. I have documented some bugs which I would like to share too reappearances of erased content when you scroll after erasing In scribble mode, “Show Keyboard” doesn’t work in iPad OS 17.6.1 There can be an online forum or group where the users can interact and report bugs to the developers. I would love to get an response from the team. Thanks

all data backup with folder is this possible ?

This app is good but uses 2 to 3 time more battery than other apps like Goodnotes.

Please add feature of adding wallpaper as theme , not only colour. It will be very useful.

Only thing i think i want is link multiwindow like in goodnotes where u can just open like multiple pdfs at once

How to search within a document like in goodnotes? I can only search all documents together and not all the things in a document can be seen
