OSHA-NIOSH Heat Safety Tool

I travel the country and have referred to this app in many places. It is always precise, accurate and very helpful. I love the precautionary, symptom and fist aide tabs….. Also available in Spanish so communication is not an issue. Love it and share it with everyone!

I work outside , middle of day, middle of summer every year all year. Have had this app for about 5 months now and it is my go to. Allows me to avoid days that are in extreme, shows what symptoms to look out for in heat related health issues and what to do when they happen. Breaks it down hourly, the temp and “feels like” categories. It overall I like this app.

Ironically this app only seems to work when you aren’t in a danger zone for heat index. I use this app for work and every time time we check around noon or when we know the heat index should be high the app has an error. I have it two stars because when the app works it’s very good, but in an error state you can’t even look at the other tabs like symptoms.

Had an issue that wouldn’t allow me to open it. It’s fixed now so everything’s kosher on my end

Concept is great, but only having hourly forecast and not realtime does not help.

Haven’t been able to retrieve weather data in days. What’s up?

When is this EVER not the case?

This is always off and showing less heat, other apps more accurate in my opinion. Sometimes it just doesn’t work

Need a watch app with notifications

Doesn’t work. Extreme risk but actual conditions are cold and rainy.
