I used to like this, but adds are now too frequent and too long……and I don’t do “subscriptions”, so now looking for an alternative from a competitor.

How to play:
Both players take turns placing disks on the board with their assigned color facing up. Any disk of the opponent’s color that is in a straight line between the disk you just placed and another disk of yours on the field will be turned over to match your own color. The players proceed to strategically reverse the disks in their favor until both players have no more legal moves to make.

Terrible game play, too many adverts
Not much else to say. CPU was very boring to play… I beat it 56 to 8 so not much fun. Constant adverts taking over and couldn’t get away from them. I spent more time writing this review than playing!! Have already deleted. Save yourself the bother,
Ads
An enjoyable game, but the frequency of ads makes it almost unplayable. It’s literally a 30-second ad per tap outside of the game, such a shame.
Every time I open the app I get an revert
Not done anything and get an advert every time I start the app.
No option to pay and remove ads
Like the game, I played and won but as a thanks it played a video ad. Wish there was an option to pay.
Glitchy at times
Platform can be quite unstable. One game in every ten freezes or never gets started. Online timer also seems extremely short for a strategy game. You could easily double the time available without it dragging. Personally it also bugs me when opponents just quit when they believe they’ve lost. Have the decency to play it out! But I love the simplicity and find the tactics very challenging.
Apps broken
Edit: it doesn’t happen on mobile data network. I’ve not experienced any issues with my ISP, but Othello is somehow glitchy. Hopefully, it’s intermittent. The app has been broken for a few days. ***** After making a few valid moves I get a message that I lost. I’ve been enjoying it for a f couple of years, pretty much every day. Please fix this weird issue.

Othello is crap. It crashes while playing an opponent and it crashes against ai and it NEVER matches you with the same level opponent so you stand no chance of winning or “mastering” it. Crap.
Good to play, but freezes frequently
I love the simplicity of this game, and enjoy this app very much. However, it freezes frequently and the menu and new buttons don’t work - so have to force shut the app and start every few games…. Please fix if possible.
