Hire an electric cargo bike by the minute and say goodbye to the car (or van)!
OurBikes can carry approx 80 kg in the box. There is a bench in most bikes that accommodates two children or one adult.
Riding an OurBike is relatively easy as it is a three wheeled bike, but like any road user, you need to show awareness and caution when riding. Particular attention is needed when cornering or riding on a road with a camber as the bike can become unbalanced and topple over. As the rider, lean into the corner or camber to balance out the bike.
There is an instructional video to watch on your first trip. We offer free cargo skills sessions to anyone who needs extra assistance whcih you can book through our website.
How it works:
Download the app and register with a photo ID. This can take up to 48 hours to be confirmed.
Use the app to reserve the day and time you want to start and end the ride.
Arrive at the location of your bike and start your ride in the app. You can then unlock and lock the bike as many times as you wish during your journey. Use the display panel in the handlebars to turn on the bike and manage the power.
If the bike is low on battery or there are any small issues, such as the tyres need to be pumped up, go and ask the host for a charged battery or pump. The host is the nearby organisation whom the bike is named after.
When your journey is due to end, return the bike to its location and end your journey in the app.

Does the job
Basic app that lets you hire a cargo bike. Clunky but app mostly works. Random problems logging in and support hard to get in time on the street. Battery life of bike often a problem
Great bike, easy ride
Enjoyed delivering equipment and taking a passenger for a ride. So many people were jealous of my wheels.
Fantastic service and getting better
App used to be clunky - photo uploads to end sessions wouldn't work, app wouldn't remember me and I had to log in every time, among other annoyances. Those are all fixed and more. The bike itself is awesome and easy to use. Highly recommend!
Great experience
Echoing others about the app set up and booking for the first time has not been very smooth. But got there eventually. Used the cargo bike to take my kids around town and loved the experience. Will certainly use it more often!
Great way to hire e-cargo bikes
Easy way to book an electric cargo bike in Lambeth (and some other London boroughs, I believe). After a few teething problems the app is functioning well now. You can use the app to book in advance and unlock the bike when it’s time to ride - a bit like Lime bikes but cheaper and carries much much more!
Great app and bike share
Brilliant ! Used to collect gardening. Just like zipcar but way cheaper and eco friendly and easier rhan driving a car!
Super Service, Simple App.
What I really like about this app is it does what it says on the tin… Easy to use in a face… Works flawlessly… Great service. The Bluetooth component works fantastic for the lock, and it doesn’t draw down your battery in any particular way.really enjoy using the bike service and this app.
