Please do something about your app. It is slow, absolutely not user friendly, and glitchy. Why does it constantly log you out and then you have to log back in by them emailing you a code that takes 10 min to receive in the inbox. Other poorly made apps are much more user friendly and less glitchy than Outdoorsy. Absolute morons developed this app.

The platform is great, but the app has a lot of glitches and things don’t work constantly. Really frustrating trying to use it on a phone. On the computer it works fine.
The outdoorsy app is truly a terribly written iOS app. Not only does it suffer from performance issues, I often have it crash and the features fail to work more often then they do work. I’m sick of having to call their customer service to complete a check out for a renter and have had to email photos to support more than once due to their implementation of uploads failing. One of the biggest frustration this past year was their poor implementation of 2 stage authentication which of course has failed on multiple occasions to deliver the a txt or email to me to be able to login. This is especially fun when a guest has an important question or need and I’m not able to reply. Support is always willing to manually preform tasks luckily that the app fails to deliver on. But this is not a good host experience and I know from speaking to multiple renters that their experience is not much better. Hopefully this company revamps their native iOS dev, qa, and product teams sooner than later.
This company and its service is completely dishonest. They will use dubious tactics to avoid paying damage claims when the claim amount exceeds renter’s deposit. Anyone hosting their RV with them is taking a huge risk since the insurance they provide has too many loopholes for them to avoid paying claims when damages happen.
Way better then the other apps!
I don’t like having to use two factor authentication every time I sign in. I miss messages from new renters because of this. The security on this app is stronger than most of my banks, Airbnb, VRBO, and it’s annoying. The check-in process has gotten slightly easier with half of the amount of pictures, but there are still areas of opportunity for the development team to figure out how to get all the document paperwork notifications finalized.
If a renter damages your camper and you do all the proper steps submitting a claim, get ready for nothing but lack of communication, talking to only people in the Middle East, and Outdoorsy denying the claim for bogus reasons. I have requested to talk to a supervisor or a "claims representative ". It's been over a month with out receiving a call or from my 100 calls getting ahold of someone. Very unhappy with outdoorsy. Again beware!
This update keep logging me out of app, app not showing booking correctly. Causing messages Delay and unable to reply in Timmy manna.
It’s been nice to see that I don’t have to have a special code sent every time I log in, that was annoying. There was also glitches in submitting pictures. I would hit send, then get an error code, shut down the app and restart, then it’d be ok.
