I created an online web account and it works fine. The app doesn’t even let me login with the same credentials.
Have a problem and they try one thing and give up. Cost a lot for no service
I have two homes with different integrators, both use OVRC. How can I create an instance of the app to allow me to see and manage both homes?
So I noticed today that app icon changed and a UI update was performed. Now I can’t pause the WiFi for my profiles. It says it pauses but it doesn’t actually pause anything. There’s only two reasons I use this app and it’s to reset my network and pause profiles.
Where is the ability to name devices on the network? Where is the ability to turn devices on and off the network? The screen that shows the devices is so glitchy! Where is the ability for the homeowner to update the firmware/software. Its too dependent upon the installer yet the homeowner owns the devices!
The app signs me out EVERY SINGLE TIME. Even after just a moment of having gotten out of the app (not even closing or killing it). I hate having to sign in everytime I need to reboot something. It's also incredibly bothersome that the "Remember Me" check box doesn't work. It's never remembered me. Or anyone else that I'm aware of. Do better OVRC. Your failures hurt your dealers, integrators, and brand.
This app has not been updated for 3 years and it’s completely broken now. The device management page does not scroll down right only showing part of connected devices. The parental control is totally broken. I wonder if this company is going to bankruptcy otherwise why they don’t upgrade an app for their client who have spent a few thousand dollars on their hardwares?
This app was one of the reasons I chose hardware by Araknis but it’s now severely broken and needs an update to work with the latest iOS. The app no longer allows manipulation of the times for the schedules so whenever schedules I had built in the past are set in stone and cannot be changed or added upon. I’ve asked my home automation provider to contact Araknis on multiple occasions but there’s still no fix to these problems. Araknis, please listen to your customers and fix this outdated app!
The app seems to work fine but it bothers me that a app that needs no info on you is tracking what YouTube videos your watching - why do they need it?! Their an IT company for heavens sake!?
