Edited 13/08 : I got a reply from the Team. This study is in the biographical references but it is much older than I thought : 2014. The application is well designed but there is a great lack of transparency regarding an essential information that appears when studying vegetables like lentils, beans, spinach, peas, asparagus, etc...: "To date guidelines recommend avoiding all purine-rich food including legumes. However a huge study with about 50000 participants showed that this recommendation is outdated. There is no relation between the purine content of vegetables and a risk for gout. Plant based purines are not easily converted into uric acid, they have a low bioavailability. Most likely plant proteins even have an (albeit small) protective effect against gout flares. Contrary to common recommendations, a moderate consumption of purine-rich legumes doesn't pose a risk" The revolutionary nature of this statement deserves to be better documented with at least the references of this "huge" study. I did not find anything in the biographical references.
