** There is nothing negative to say about this app - appPicker review, 06 Aug 2013
Pano Tuner listens to the sound you make and shows you the pitch. You can tune your instrument accurately by looking at the offset from the pitch that you want to tune to.

Pano Tuner Lite FAQ
Is Pano Tuner Lite free?
Yes, Pano Tuner Lite is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Pano Tuner Lite legit?
🤔 The Pano Tuner Lite app's quality is mixed. Some users are satisfied, while others report issues. Consider reading individual reviews for more context.
PanoTuner is the most reliable free app that I have found. It will help you tune accurately, and I’ve been using it for years.
However, they recently changed the layout in a way that does not make sense to me. Instead of a higher pitch being represented by the tuner going to the right side of the screen, the right sound now indicates lower pitches. This is contrary to how pianos are set up, to how any string instrument works, and how we are used to thinking of the musical alphabet as musicians (and how most other tuners on the market represent high and low). I do not understand this change and I wish it would go back to normal.
Best tuner
I really like this tuner, Ibhave been using it for a couple of years now, and the only thing that is better than this tuner is a physical tuner. I use the tuner for both viola, and violin, and it works like a charm. On rare occasion the tuner does lag for like a second, but that isn’t a big enough tissue for me to lower the rating.
Furthermore, the tuner is really convenient, as you can just pull out your phone and in 30 seconds your tuned! It has saved when I played at a concert outside in the winter cold at mystic seaport, and I hope it remains as good as it is.

HORRIBLE TUNER AND UGLY
I hate this app
It freezes constantly and doesn’t slides around everywhere at a rate so fast you have no idea what note you’re nearing
Using the lite version, update changed it for the worst
The new font is harder to read and the tuner movement of the tuner is no longer smooth, now it’s absolutely useless.
Works well
I read the recent reviews with concern and downloaded it anyway. It appears to work perfectly. And considering I spent $0 for it, quit complaining!
Better at freezing than tuning
This used to be a great tuner. Now it lags out and freezes up constantly. Totally useless
WHAT HAPPENED
This app was perfect the way it was years ago. I just started using it again trying to get into learning guitar again, and it just freaks out. The screen showing the recorded note just jitters constantly at a large range where I don't know what the actual note is. It's completely useless as it is! Why did you guys suddenly drop a bunch of updates after 8 years of inactivity? Something messed it up!
Perfect tuners
I used it when repairing musical instruments and checking the frets always.
It’s my best friend around 8 years!
What happened to the last release?
All of a sudden the note scale is nervously twitching in the absence of any sound? It seems like it needs some damping of some sort. It’s very distracting. Otherwise, great app.
