Been using this app for several years and worked well on M1 Chip IPad but now it is constantly freezing or you have to run through a sequence of switching between eraser and pen to get it responsive. On a normal day this would be 5 starts but unfortunately, I have to switch apps. As it is slowing me down.
Extremely limited unless you want to pay for the yearly subscription, the majority of unique features are behind the paywall.
This app clearly isn’t being actively worked on so… why is it still a subscription? It’s a pretty decent app so just make it $25 or whatever, and continue the bug and compatibility fixes for as long as the developer can be bothered, and release the templates locked behind the now defunct credits system.
The app is great for making collage. It’s easy and user friendly but wished they’d made the pages bigger or atleast give options on the page size as it’s too small for me on the ipad pro. The pages should have been bigger when we flipped it to see more clearly the photos on the page.
Why is there a pro?!?! I think all ppl even ppl that can’t afford pro need those stuff!?pls get rid of the pro😰
It’s a really nice app and amazing for creative people like myself. However, there is no option to put text on the pages. I’ve been creating a digital travel scrapbook and wanted to type out the names of the places but there is no option to do this, which is disappointing. Also the interface can be really fiddly!
Paper is a great app for digital artists. It can be used by professionals and people trying it for the first time. Overall the app is great but my only problems are it might not have all the features needed for a full on pro at digital art. I also think that there are lots of things you need to pay for and it might be more accessible if there were less things to pay for. The app is incredible though and I enjoy using it a lot!
This is a five star app for me usually but I am regretfully leaving a one star review as it needs fixing so badly. I love to draw in this app and can be 3 hours deep into a drawing before realising the canvas has actually frozen, however I am still able to draw on it and change tools as usual. But when I am unable to leave the page so have to force quit the app, when I return all my progress has been lost! It has rendered the app unusable. If you’re going to change to a subscription model, which you have, you can’t allow this sort of bug to prevail! The app is pointless if I lose all my work in it EDITED in response to developer response, i did contact and there was nothing you could do, you also seemed to be aware of the freezing bug but seem to have no urgency in fixing it. app is unusable
I quite like this app so am gutted for some reason I can’t access credits on the store to get different journals
Imagine me thinking I’d buy my pencil for this app and think I could use it forever then they stick pro on the name the pencil stops working and they go for the cash grab subscription model. Sorry guys lots better apps out there you can get with a one off fee, good luck, you’ll need it.
