Par Timer Pro Reviews

Price Confusion

Roxarama on

I just downloaded this app after reading recommendations for a decent Par timer for dryfire. I opted for this Pro version, as I am willing to spend a little more for some nice options. It seems I cannot use this app on my ipad unless I agree to paying $3.99 PER WEEK...?? My iphone states $1.99 per week, but even that is a hard pass for me. I guess I will be buying an actual shot timer after all...

Works great - get it!

Quick and easy.

I’ve got all the training apps, paid & free. But this is the one I come back to most. Quick and simple. Easy GUI. Ample adjustments available without getting you bogged down in details that pull you away from training. Note: This app only provides a metric by which to judge whether or not you are reaching specific objectives within a par time determined by you. Then allows you to crank up the heat, to challenge yourself to meet those goals a hair faster. It does that exceedingly well, but you will only get out of it what you put into it.

Amazing shooting app

Basic timer, but works well for my needs

Needed a simple way to see if l can beat various time limits, with a random start. This does exactly that and I never needed another ap.

Very useful for at-home dry firing

The app does what it does well. The other par timer app on here that costs .99 doesn’t do as much. This has a repeat function and multiple standby times. Clean UI. I use it with a Rhino laser for first shot draws and it’s perfect for that purpose. I have one request though: it would be really useful to have a feature where I could go through the automatic start for a set amount of times. So I could know how many reps I’ve completed. UPDATE: the developers added a rep counter to the app, it works great!

Works great!

It does what I need to do to practice drawing my weapon, and gives nice indicator sounds when to do so.

Love it

I shoot at an indoor range, so a normal shot timer is out of the question for me, because it would just pick up the shots around me. I’ve been using this for about a month and I’m very pleased with it. If I could suggest a change, it would be the option to edit the standby time.

Great app for practicing at home

Going2Citrix on

Awesome! I almost spent more than a hundred bucks on a shot timer just for par timing. Glad I found this app. It is simple to use and the GUI is well designed. It has tons of beeps/tones you can choose from. This is perfect for practicing your draws at home. Just note, this app will not replace a physical shot timer, it’s a Par Timer, duh!

Fantastic

If you want to practice your draws, this is the app to have, it has helped me improve so much. I cannot recommend it enough
