Paradiski YUGE

Good app, easy to get information about our stay. Get the pictures from lifts. Etc. However the tracking doesn’t work at all, it stops recording (despite the tracking is still on). Sometimes it does not want to start tracking.

I was able to log in but everything has an error asking me to retry. Tried a few different times but no part of the app works everything has an error.

Tracking feature of the app still not working . Not clear if gps or mobile data needed. I tried both without success. If you need tracking then use another app.

6 of us downloaded this to pay for our lift passes. It would not allow us to pay! Even the website had similar issues. The lifties in Vallandry were super helpful but could ultimately do nothing as we couldn’t pay. If you’re going to have an online system and App it must be able to take payment!

It’s all set up properly but tried and tried to get the app to sync but it won’t. It says it has unsaved sessions but when I type to synchronise nothing is happening. My husband’s is working fine with a similar phone and doing the same skiing, with the exact same settings and liked to a Google account 🤷🏻‍♀️. I’ve now given up.

Tracking stops after about 3 runs, wanted to track what runs I’d covered but couldn’t.

I have used the YUGE app for many years and to be honest I preferred previous versions. Please can you sort the tracking out as it loses you through your ski runs. I’ve just skied 100 minutes and it’s only tracked me for 22 mins. Seems to lose you near Grizzly and Valandry lifts and doesn’t pick you up again.

I am incredibly disappointed that this app has not improved. I’ve had it on my phone for several years and stuck with it for my last three skiing holidays in La Plagne. I’ve waited patiently for the improvements over the years but in reality it’s just not good enough! If anything it’s got worse! When I’m here I want it to be able to track my skiing. Large parts of today’s activity are missing. It claims I’ve done runs that I haven’t and misses out ones that I have. Also for some inexplicable reason it says I’ve done any run that is recorded twice. At one point I apparently jumped over to Les Arcs and I managed that without using the Vanoise Express! Other apps seem to be able to track you, but not this one! My brother used the basic Strava app today and it was far superior to anything YUGE has to offer!! The stats offered are incredibly limited. I can tell the time and know how long I’ve been out there! The distance travelled is highly questionable due to the inability to track me! The maximum altitude (at Roche de Mio) was actually accurate, but confusingly I didn’t get there according to the tracking!! There is no reference to speed at all. Maybe this is because lifts are not separated from runs, meaning that any average speed will depend on how slow the Dos Rond Lift is working on any particular day! I’ve linked my pass to the app, but it is completely unclear what that does. It certainly doesn’t provide any of the promised photos or help with recognising where I’ve been. I’ve probably been generous in giving 2 stars, but I did like to look at the web cams before coming to La Plagne. I also think that the map is good, although real time updates or notifications when key lifts are closed would be helpful.

Tracking does not always work and will randomly stop. Have scanned for the photos on multiple occasions and have only 1 photo showing in the app. If the app is so unstable you should be able to email the photos or retrieve some other way

Don't get me wrong, I love the app for what it does do. I'm a season pass user so use it a lot but despite the new update the app is still full of bugs. - The tracker turns itself off for no apparent reason. Yesterday it turned off three times. - photos taken at the Yuge stations on the slope don't appear in the app. - the challenge section is all in French and the conditions for completing them are not easy to understand. - the timer is weird, on Monday it tells me I skied 2 runs and 12.78km but was on the slope for 22h28m. Yesterday I covered 7 runs and 25.35km in 1h02m There is also no way to contact support for the app, the only place is by leaving a review.
