This was such a waste of money it doesn't do anything that it says it does, it's hard to work with, and it's a total rip off. Don't get it! They lure you in and make you think it's free and then they make you pay $3.99 for nothing!
I like this app but after purchasing 2 of the maps they crash during loading. I tried several different wifi spots. Disappointed.
Pretty useless. Starts out 'free' but then hits you up when you try to download actual maps. I got it for off line public transportation help, but it only includes metro, not buses or rail, and the interface to find metro routes is clumsy. Would not waste my time and memory on it.
I like etips travel guides, offline maps, audio phrases. Very well designed.
The description sounds great but the implementation is really, really bad! Stay away of this app if you are planning to travel do Paris. The user interface is hideous, the information about the attractions are shallow and presented in a small text box (roughly 60% of the iPad screen is used - talk about waste!) using the infamous Courier font. There are some pictures beside the texts, but they are small and you can't even pinch and zoom. The "interactive map" advertised is just a cropped Google Map with no POI's! There's not even a metro map... Not to mention the developer's decision to display those maps on another small screen inside the app (I mean, why not use the whole screen?). Before I took the chance with this app, I wondered why the developer didn't upload any real screenshots to the App Store. After a few minutes using it, I realized that they do not want to scare away potential buyers by showing them that ugly user interface and also all that screen real estate waste... Had I seen those screenshots before, I wouldn't buy it! The only feature that was described correctly is the built in french audio. That could come in handy if you got stuck in areas that don't have wifi connection (or if you don't have the 3G version). As for the rest, I was really disappointed. So, please be advised, don't let that description fool you. This app is a waste of money!
