Description

Welcome to Parking Mobility: the #1 app to report disabled parking abuse!
Report disabled parking abuse to your city in less than two minutes. When you see a vehicle parked illegally, simply launch Parking Mobility, take 3 photos and submit. We tell the city and they ticket the vehicle’s owner. You help improve accessibility in your community and support people with disabilities. The data you help us generate helps demonstrate the worldwide problem of accessible parking abuse and helps us provide the most effective program to end abuse in your community.
You can also share, find and suggest accessible parking locations anywhere in the world. Most cities do not know where their accessible parking is, so at first, you may find only a few spots on the map where you live. As you and your friends and neighbors use Parking Mobility, more spots will be show up and your community will become more easily accessible.
You can share the locations of accessible spots in less than 30 seconds, allowing others in your community to more easily find accessible parking. By tapping the map pin, you can quickly see the location’s details (# of spaces, ramp access details, accessibility, cost, etc.)
If you or someone you know uses accessible parking, Parking Mobility is what you’ve been waiting for.

Parking Mobility Reviews

Great in concept.

Terrible in practice.. the department doesn’t actually use the data to issue any citations. The user interface is awful. You have to stand around and take photos in the app in a specific order, raising the likelihood of confrontation from the offenders. It would be better if users could upload their own photos.

Every report denied.

Why even bother. It’s like they find a reason to deny every report you make. Not worth the trouble or almost getting into a quarrel with the person who you are trying to take a photo of. I’m not even sure if they even do anything. With your report.

It works!

Quite simply, this works. It sends in the complaint ➡️ 1) IF the person doesn’t actually have a placard/plate and isn’t validly parking in the spot, they get a ticket. 2) IF they do have a right to be there, they show they own a disabled placard or that they were transporting someone who does, (even if it wasn’t displayed at the time), and the ticket gets dismissed. ➡️as a side note Someone in the negative reviews complained about the terms and conditions, but clearly didn’t understand them. It is just agreeing that you won’t hold the app responsible if you wrongly report someone. That’s about it.

Not Worth the Hassle

Reporting vehicles was going great, until I had one declined. Apparently the ppl behind this are ignorant of my State’s laws regarding what makes a placard or license plate expired/invalid; even when the statute was provided. Use if you want, but I will be deleting the app, because it is an obvious waste of time and effort.

Dangerous App

Better to just slash their tires.

Not helpful

Unless the spot has a disabled parking sign like a stop sign, the violation will not be reported. I have reported twice where it was no sign but the decal on the ground for the spot. There were no signs anywhere in the parking lot. Both violations were denied. Then I get told I can report the need for signs in the app. I couldn’t find it anywhere. Not helpful.

Decent But

Great idea but the app crashes all the time and the fact that you can't take a picture and then upload it is criminal, i can quickly snap 3 pictures faster than taking the pictures in the app- not tryna get caught

Rewards

Dewey Dough on

United States

This app or system would be great if every time someone is reported and get fined, that the person reporting this should get a reward like how New Yorkers get paid by reporting people parking illegally on the streets. Other than that I’m not gonna waste my time reporting anyone. It’s comes with an reward.

The people who rates this app a one star are bots and absolutely terrible and childish

(I absolutely love this app and will continue using it to report people who misuse handicapped violations etc.)

Great concept but….

beudbdhkd g on

I love the concept and I will be happy to help reporting people the uses and abuses parking and other disable areas but the app makes you fully responsible if you submit any information and the person affected, decides to sue you or whatever. So for that reason I’m out.
