Keeps scanning and declining. No matter how many times I update my card etc it just doesn’t work anymore, used to be fine.

Given 1 star because it’s not possible to give 0. The app won’t allow me to add my payment details- but it has taken 2p five times now to verify my account. It just won’t move on from then. I don’t know if I will be able to pay via the app therefore when I park up tomorrow or not. For such a large organisation as NCP, I would expect a better app. But the online website is similar- my advance payment for parking is showing as pending in my banking app, yet the website doesn’t show any bookings and I’ve not had email confirmation either, so I have no idea if I’m going to be charged twice or not. Sort out your site/app services, NCP- not good enough.

If you are going to base a minimal functionality app around a web service that is poorly maintained it’s a nice failure mode where the customer gets billed and then is met by a message saying “Sorry there was a problem”. Customer gets billed and then a pleasant fine two weeks later for unpaid parking. Also to request refund requires customer ID and this vital information is hidden in a menu presenting a QR code for who knows what purpose. Whoever commissioned this didn’t pay enough money for the contract and if I could possibly avoid it I won’t be using NCP again.

Tried to pre book - couldn’t. Tried to use QR code to pay on departure - couldn’t. What’s the point! Don’t bother.

So installed the app and did everything to get the cheaper car parking…. And it didn’t work so now have to pay online at the higher rate. Very poor.

I use various apps for car parking Ringo, Permit and Connect Contactless Parkings apps have been great. Downloaded this app and was about to add card then thought I’d read the reviews. Thank God I read them, I’ll stick to traditional methods of payment if I ever use an NCP car park again.

The least convenient way to pay for anything I’ve yet come across. A waste of time. And money. Takes ages to set up and performance is appalling. I have ended up paying at the machine three times now (costing extra money and wasting my time). This has to be a conspiracy surely? No one could make an app this bad without trying right?

When trying to log in to make payment, app kept saying “sorry, something went wrong. Please try again”. The app seems to not be working effectively as I have deleted and reinstalled app and still the same issue, so I’m unable to pay for parking which is really annoying as it been over 24hrs and I risk getting a ticket because of the issues with this app. Really disappointed

I’ve also had a problem with this app! The hotel car park was full so I was given this app and code to use so we could park at the nearest NCP for the same price. I got charged full price and have been told it’s because I didn’t enter the code……. But I definitely did! I now see that when I click on FAQ’s or anything in the help section it just says ‘Oops Sorry something has gone wrong’ so I think it’s the app that’s the problem and not me. I’m also going to tell the hotel that it’s doesn’t look good on them to use this app for their customers.

Don’t bother - app doesn’t work. Can’t amend details, can’t add address. Rubbish
