Better than expected

Really nice and upscale events all around the city. This app creates wonderful opportunities to mix and mingle with various groups and interesting people

Hospitality is on fleek!

So far so good honestly can’t complain :)

Biased App, no transparency

cleverprotector on

United States

It’s a biased app, doesn’t display the list of all events, the algorithm is tweaked with some unknown bias. I canceled my membership as in spite of paying top tier $40 membership fee, the lower tier members would see more events than top tier members! Hence it’s all shady practices without any transparency!

What a scam

19mark70 on

If you subscribe to NeueHouse or SohoHouze newsletter you get the same events for free with no need to pay anything. One event was locked as Premium but i was able to RSVP directly from NeueHouse website. What a scam. What a waste of time and money. This is a ghost town app.

Not good

In todays world business dont care about loyal members or customers. I first started going to parlor back in 2014. I rejoined back in October after a long waitlist. Out of nowhere they freeze my membership. Its not worth the time and energy. Its one of those places where its too good to be ture.

Curation at it’s finest

Such an Amazing social club that makes you feel heard with perfectly curated events just for you. A tasteful community of Parlor members that welcome you each time. If you’re looking for what NY really has to offer sign up for Parlor. The connections and the opportunities to go places you may have otherwise never known of is definitely worth it.

Great for being new in the city!

I just moved to NYC and didn’t have any friends outside of coworkers. It’s a great way for young professionals to meet and a great way to explore the city!

Almost perfect

Kievenips on

Pretty happy about this service. The only place I think that needs improvement is the app itself. There is literally zero reason to connect with someone over the app because there is no way to continue that connection. At the very least there should be a social bar where we can reach out to that person. The better idea would be to have someway to have a conversation. That way you can keep people on the app instead of making them go somewhere else.

One of the best social club apps

I’ve tried a lot of different applications and this one has been the easiest to use. Really great interface. Also a great variety of events that are ones I wouldn’t know to look for.

NYC at your fingertips

FatimaRNYC on

I’m so grateful for Parlor! This club forced me to get out of my comfort zone and allowed me to meet so many incredible people while experiencing exclusive events in NYC. It’s a great way to experience the city, even if you’re solo. As cliqué as it sounds, the slogan should be “Parlor— where you enter as strangers and leave as friends.”
