Search doesn't work / It keeps crashing
The search feature STILL doesn't work at all. It never ever returns any result, regardless of whether it's a plain text item or a link. The app keeps crashing after opening it, every time, so I can't use it at all.
Useless crap
I loved this app till I was tricked into a subscription because they replaced the old version in the Appstore with a new one preventing me from getting what I had paid for. There is nothing new in the new version only that I have to pay monthly for it. Do not buy it.
Too much
Deleted pretty quickly. If I can’t figure out how to use in less than 30 seconds it’s useless. Needs simplified.
Great App, Terrible Sync
I have been using this app for years and when I’m not dealing with sync issues across devices, this is a great functional app.
Mac feels broken without it
I use Paste hundreds of times a day. I love the tray interface that slides up from the bottom. Pinning data is wonderful. My cheatsheet for a lot of things.
Fix
When you updated your app in December 2024. I cannot edit what I need to edit on your app. Please fix it.
A good example of a bad subscription
- Widgets Are still not interactive after 2 years of being possible. - Paying $20 for a year for this app. And the only noticeable update is the fact that they change the design slightly, it’s more noticeable on iPhone and iPad apps that it is on the Mac version. I’m not exactly sure what the subscription for. I know Apple is getting their money worth for now, but if app developers keep this up, subscriptions with very low amount of work put into it per year, subscriptions are just going to fade out.
Shortcut actions and sharesheet extension on iOS are broken
- Nice looking app but some glaring bugs. - No interactive widgets (widgets that don’t launch the app). - Bad Shortcut actions - They only have a Twitter (now called X) account.
Used to be great, but now randomly crashes
I've been using Paste for years, and it's been an invaluable part of my workflow. However, for the past few months, it's been randomly crashing. I'll enter the shortcut, nothing happens, I'll look up at the menu bar, and realize Paste is gone. I'll relaunch it, and it turns out that it's been dead for the last twenty minutes and all of the clipboard history I had is completely gone. I emailed support to tell them about this problem and offered logs, but got no reply. If this doesn't get fixed, I will have no choice but to cancel my subscription and find another tool. Extremely unfortunate, really -- the features and UI are amazing.
