Love it, but....
I love this app. My boyfriend had to go out of town for a week and I can see where he is. It puts my mind at ease, but my app keeps crashing. I can see his location but if I try to zoom in on where he is, it crashes.

I cannot find how to make the geofences work, and there were some oddities with it losing contact and not showing friends' locations. I like the concept tho!
The app description says it doesn't require an account, but it's the first thing you're required to do before accessing the core functionality. Further, if you read into the terms of service they explicitly state they will sell your personal and location information. This feature is already built into iMessage, just use that instead.
This app looks nice, but That's they only positive quality of this app. First, sign up is required to use the app. This nearly had me uninstalling the app, but I continued. Next, I tried to enter my home and work addresses and could not. No matter how I tapped on the screen, the app wouldn't let me input my addresses. At this point I declared the app worthless and uninstalled it. This app might be okay, but the onboarding process could use some love.
Given the other users' comments and the terms and conditions of this app, I'm thoroughly confused about safety issues. It alludes to functionality that isn't in the description. Also, this app does require an account/email address and will access your contacts. It doesn't appear to be what I was hoping which was real time map like Uber where I could see just my friends and family.
I try to write a review about the experience I had with this app but it won't let me post it. Hopefully this one will go through. I was held at gun point, beat up, and robbed. Not a safe app especially for women
It's a nice concept. The UI is clean and easy to navigate. I have faced 2 problems though. Navigation to a friend using google maps isn't working for me. And the app is not letting me add "Home" and "Work" locations. The problems happened on my wife's iPad too. Fix these and it's definitely worth 5 stars.
Who the hell thought this was a good idea? 😂😂.
I am no beginner at using apps.... this is one that never fails to frustrate... never seem to get it to work correctly ... needs better software ... good luck
The one thing most location apps don't have is real time location. For those interested in safety and security for loved ones or business teams this feature is a great thing. However, this free app is just basic IMHO. What's needed is to combine Life360 features with this Apps real time capability and you would have a killer app. I'm hoping the developer is hard at work making a premium app with such features. It would be with a one time fee or subscription is gladly pay. Continue developing, please
