The app was really buggy when we visited PAX Unplugged last year. Please give it a serious update before the next PAX U convention. Multiple attempts to enter tournaments just to have the app crash. Really frustrating. Please hire someone to correct these issues. This convention must make a ton of money. I’m sure it’s within your budget and will help bring people year after year. I’m dreading having the same experience with this app.

Good for setting up a schedule of what you’d like to see (once you spend some time to figure out the ux). But, registration stalled or crashed every morning. Events were filled in seconds by whomever, somehow, got access (bots?). First time at event, we were very sad to miss everything but the expo. And, we really tried. (Inability to register for anything resulted in lines of frustrated, tired, people… long grueling lines far worse than I have ever seen)

God help you if you want to prereg for anything if you’re using an iPhone or iPad. Looks like Android users get preferential treatment.

Loved the PAX XP scavenger hunt. It was tough but I got all the stops!

Doesn’t have downloaded maps so when the signal is weak during the con I can’t see the maps

The app does not even open I got to the first screen allowing notifications and now it crashes everytime no matter how many times I restart my phone

I missed out on an event because the app is buggy. Submitted for Foamsmith workshop right when it opened at 8am. Submitted 3 times, once each at 10/30, 15/30 and 27/30 seats taken. Each time it took me back to the “enter your handle” form to submit again. Confirmed with the workshop runners that none of the 3 submittals took. That all happened between 8:00 and 8:01am.

This app is clunky, unintuitive, hard to use and read. You can tell that no testing was done on different screen sizes. Very much an amateur product.
