• Operation is extremely simple: open the app, select the vending machine among those available from the smartphone and buy the product you desire. Coffee, drinks, snacks…Choose your favourite!
• Pay4Vend uses a special credit for the purchases on the vending machine, which is stored inside the application. Make the top-up by inserting some coins or bills directly on the vending machine or by using PayPal, credit cards or Apple Pay (where active).
• The credit transaction is fast and safe, the communication with the vending machine occurs in an encrypted way.
• Registration requires just a few data and in a few second you’ll be allowed to Pay4Vend as a payment system. If you change your smartphone you can easily recover the credit you charged previously.
• Communicate with the vending machine’s operator: send your requests and messages and you’ll receive some bonuses and discounts at the operator’s discretion.
The Pay4Vend application requires an active Bluetooth connection in order to communicate with the vending machine. Any credit present on your smartphone is not used by Pay4Vend.

This is some black mirror stuff
I have a burning hatred for this app and the business model that it embodies. The fact that I have to provide my email address, phone number and email address and register for a vending machine makes absolutely no sense.
There is no value added through this app, except the fact that the company is able to siphon off more money through the collection of data, whilst still charging an extortionate amount for a chocolate bar.
It is furthering the acceptance of companies taking unnecessarily information into potentially insecure servers, in order to sell this data for profit at no benefit to the consumer. In my opinion this should be highly illegal.
I strongly encourage everyone to lie about their personal details to not give this scummy company any more money.

The app is easy to use and navigate. Connects easily to machines. Works very well!
Good so far
Used this in Manchester airport a couple times. Only problem I’ve had is sometimes I’m right next to the machine and it won’t come up straight away or the signal will be weak. Other than that I’ve had nothing but a pleasant experience so will continue to use. I suppose a better pod and drink selection could be better in some machines as it’s always the basic choices people usually buy. I’ll still give five stars because there’s no real problems :)

Terminal 2 Manchester Airport has these machines and they don’t dispense products, it says authorising and buffers around for ages, you then try using the app or a bank card and nothing happens.

Registration not working on the app
None of the machines working with contactless payments on Birmingham airport and app can’t get the registration as well. Pretty low quality and not easy to use in 2023 technology. Just annoying. Obviously no one checks the sales or customer feedbacks. If they really work on it, they can see the benefit.
Machines don’t show on list
Have to top up to find that the machines you’re stood right next to don’t show on the list of available machines.
