PC Pro Magazine FAQ
Is PC Pro Magazine free?
Yes, PC Pro Magazine is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is PC Pro Magazine legit?
⚠️ The PC Pro Magazine app has poor ratings and negative feedback. Users seem unsatisfied with its performance or features.
Continuing the woes with this abysmal app. Since the last update, even the offline feature doesn’t work. You can tap to download locally, but if you try and read it without an internet connection, the app just freezes. Absolutely useless when travelling on things like planes! As before, a good magazine ruined by a terrible app. Surprised with all the experts in the magazine, they can’t get one of them to sort this out!
Very Basic
Each page is not fully displayed, you need to scroll up and down, there’s no way to zoom in/out.
No interactive table of contents to enable navigation to a chosen article.
This is a very basic viewing app.
PC Pro - could do better
Disappointingly old-fashioned UI. Shouldn’t have to search through a bunch of print-facsimile pages to find, e.g., reviews for printers that excel in photo-printing.
Scrapbook problem
Just subscribed but there seems no way to access a page you add to the scrapbook.
Inconsistent downloads
Magazine is OK. happy enough to subscribe but twice now the new editions have not downloaded.
Hope customer support fix issue promptly.
Can’t buy…
The same problem as the last two reviews. No way to buy or subscribe it seems. It’s the same with the Computeractive app - also Dennis publishing. Been like this since October. Respond please Dennis… Even better, fix it! Four stars for when it’s working…
Problems
Since October 2021 Am having nothing but problems with pcpro app. The ability to buy single issues has vanished from the app!
So I started a digital subscription, the instructions to access my account are all wrong! They don’t work!
So frustrating , have been with pcpro for years.
Bookmarks would make this more useful
While the scrapbook option is ok for single pages, it would be much more useful to have a genuine bookmark option to allow re-reading useful articles that run over several pages.
OK but
Has suddenly become very crash mamin git hard to read magazines,
Access failure
Subscribed for years. Couple of times had to renew existing subscription to get access to already paid subscription. Not a big problem. Now I can’t access the magazines the app reporting an auth error. Emailed developer who sd have to deal with Apple. Contacted Apple who gave some advice that didn’t work and sd app developer is responsible. So paid for subscription but cannot access the magazine and no one takes responsibility. Great magazine absolutely worthless support
